Thank you for sharing! Very good version.
I try to play it for my degree concert but I couldn't find the version you played, I only find it in D minor having to go to D4. How could I get your score version?

What beautiful sound and extraordinary breath control. May I ask what make of bassoon?

Thank you! Heckel 15000 series from 2008 with CC1 bocal. The bassoon is bit special and built inspired of the 10 000 series. The sound is a bit slimmer and not so dark. On the other hand light in resistance and flexible in terms of intonation and sound quality. Intonation also seem a bit sharper too me than most newer Heckels, therefor my reeds are 29-30mm in the blade and 30mm tube.

@@nevetsnaitsabes Mr Stevensson did I read that correctly? 60mm reeds? A 30mm blade with a 30mm tube? That's even larger than what the Americans play! Ginormous!! How were the measurements of your reeds of your previous bassoons? My instrument at A4=443Hz needs a 55mm reed (27.50mm blade and 27.50mm tube)...that's a huge difference. I'm curious as to what lengths you used to play. While we're at it, what kind of a shape and what hardness cane do you use?
Or maybe you're just a freak of nature and have such breath support that you need contraltobassoon reeds. :D
