Hey guys! I think my next video will be a Q/A. Most people sent questions via Instagram but feel free to comment under this anything you'd like to ask!
It’s no wonder your channel has such a cult following after all these years-you really do manage to capture the highs, lows, and everything in between of medicine in a way no one else has been able to replicate. I know you’re extremely busy now but these occasional vlogs are still so appreciated! I hope you continue to make time for them even though we all understand if you don’t. I started watching your videos in early college and will be applying to neurology residency next year, so thanks for being such a role model for me and countless other people. You really have inspired basically an entire generation of future physicians and it’s awesome to see!
Broke my heart when you said you were worried we wouldn’t watch! I’ve been a subscriber for 6 years now and you can count on having me as one for life!! It’s such a testament to what an incredible person you are, that your video made thousands of people so happy to have you back❤️ an inspiration, a badass babe and an absolute icon👏👏
So excited! You’re my absolute biggest role model. I actually cried watching this video seeing how far you’ve come as a doctor but also a person. We’re all so proud of you ❤️
Literally teared up when you said WE would be travelling for fellowship interviews. I remember watching your residency interviews as a high school student and feeling like I had a big sister walking me through the process of becoming a doctor. I'm now anxiously waiting for a medical school acceptance and seeing this video on my feed truly made my day. I feel like my big sister is back to let me know everything is okay and I will get through this. I hope you continue sharing your journey and I can't wait to see you flourish as a cosmetic surgeon!
I was in high school when i first started watching you america and now i am in med school. I admire and lovee u a lot. You are a huge source of motivation for me and when i feel down i watch your old videos. I was feeling a lil off today but u saved me. Thanks and i am waiting for all the new videos to come ❤
Please keep vlogging!!! You started med school when I was in undergrad! Watching your videos has given me so much motivation when I wanted to quit! I struggled with the MCAT, and I would watch your videos to encourage myself to get back to the grind. Now, I'm a first year med student! I have wanted to create a vlog because of you. I want to encourage other people the way you have encouraged me through the years. Just like you said, If it helps one person, it's worth it. Please don't stop vlogging! Even just the Day in the Life videos help remind us that we will eventually make it!
America!!!! So happy you are back! I've been following your progress for a while and I was in nursing school. Now I'm a circulating nurse on the night time trauma team. So glad to see you grow and manage your own team of juniors. You got this!
I started watching your videos when you started medical school, Ive watched every video, cheering you on. Im about to graduate from nursing school and genuinely you had a HUGE deal to do with me going into healthcare. Thank YOU from the bottom of my heart. Im sure you wont see this comment, but from Boston, thank you thank you thank you. You have changed my life for only the better. This video and every single other one that you have posted, has helped me, guided me, and is something that I cherish.Thank you America
America!!! been watching you since I was in high school. I'm now in my first year of medical school. You have inspired me SO much and you encourage me in my lows. i have so much gratitude for you for sharing your journey. Can't believe i've started mine now!!!
America! I was thinking of you so much lately because we pretty much started our studies at the same time and your videos made the best company during my first years of studying psychology (late nights with a tomato rice and cole zero was the thing). And ever since I felt so connected to you! I‘m so happy to see you keep doing your thing - you really still inspire me. This is girlhood and I LOVE it!!!🧡
GORL, we will always watch your new update videos. There’s so many of us who have been following your story from med 1 to now this! We know you’re busy as hell becoming the best surgeon out there girl, we know you can’t upload videos all the time! We’re just here for it regardless and continue to support you! You’re kicking ass and we are all so so proud of you 👏 ❤
The nostalgia I feel seeing you on my screen!!!! I’m so happy to see you are still thriving! Sending all my love. Thank you for continuing to inspire me!!!!
I honestly don’t really watch TH-cam much anymore (although I occasionally still check to see what’s uploaded) this is SUCH an easy click for me! I’m sad that you were worried no one would watch it. You really are an inspiring, engaging, and unique channel to tune into. I feel sort of parasocially proud of you! I would love to continue following your journey
America I just want to say that you have shown some tremendous growth and I’m very impressed with how much you’ve grown into your role as a surgeon. As a women in medicine myself, I’m very proud to say that women in medicine rule!!! You've set such a great example and you're an inspiration to many.
Joining everyone else here to say that I've been watching for quite a while and I keep coming back. I've never wanted to do med school, I want to be a historian, but you inspire me and I really enjoy watching your process. Don't worry if videos ever become too much, but as long as you want to keep making them, we'll keep watching them! Edit: Rich Dad, Poor Dad is sadly not super useful despite its popularity but a good start! I'd recommend The Financial Diet here on TH-cam as a better starting point.
AMERICA! It's so good to have you back! Girl I've been watching ever since you were in med school when i was still in undergrad and you inspired me so much. You even inspired me to get a cat during med school too because I fell in love with Calyx in your videos so I have my very own Calyx (her name is Miso) who has helped me cope through these rough years. It's crazy to think now you're a PGY4 and I'm an MS3 already! I actually JUST got off my week of ACS nights too! :) I'm nearing the end of my surgery rotation. Just working with all my chief residents this rotation and knowing that you are a chief resident at your program blows my mind. I'm so proud of how far you've come and how hard you work!! I definitely have so much more respect for you now going through my surgery rotation and knowing how much work you've been having to put in for years! Keep it up and I'll definitely always watch whatever you upload!
I know it can be hard to film these for us but I really think you should continue to film these! I find them super interesting and you give us a look at what it's like. Also there are not many TH-camrs who show this in a positive light I feel like everyone else is always complaining about the shifts but you don't and that's refreshing!!!!
america, im in my 3rd year of getting my bachelors in community health. i work in the nursing field and i love the bedside but i have been watching your videos since i was in high school. whenever i am feeling unmotivated i come to your channel and get instantly inspired again to keep pushing so i can apply to med school next year. thank you for being you, i hope to get there 💕

This is so good America, I felt the struggle of getting through another day hahah! I love how confidant you are in your Profession and took us along with you in this journey. I have been watching you for 3 years now and to see you uploaded videos again makes me so happy ❤
i understand the nervousness, but know that so many people will watch every video you put out including me. 💚 As someone with anxiety, seeing you do things that are intimidating helps me to feel like I do things that scare me too. Love watching you fulfill your dreams! 🙂
So glad you’re back!! Your videos got me through medical school, and now that I’m in residency it is SO NICE to see someone else going through the same thing (literally just got off micu nights lol). Your videos always make me feel less alone and give me motivation to be the best I can be!!!
Hi America, I’m currently in my second year of pharmacy school. I just started a new job as an intern at a hospital as well as a managed care pharmacy. I’ve been watching you since my early days of high school. You are an absolute inspiration to me. Such an intelligent, independent, and beautiful woman to look up to! I aspire to be like you.
I'm so proud of you, America! I've been watching you for so long and you've always inspired me. I think I was a freshman in undergrad when I started watching you, and now I'm halfway through my didactic year in PA school. You are such a strong, badass, woman and I respect you so much. Keep being great, girl!
Been watching you since the very beginning of your journey. I am a year older than you and am now a registered nurse!! I have the utmost respect for you and am SO proud of you!!!

Dr. Revere! I have been watching you since I was in high school and now I just got into PA school! You have been such an inspiration for my own journey 🫶🏼
Missed you America! I was awaiting med school acceptance when I first started watching your videos, and now I'm a 3rd-year med student currently doing my month of Trauma Surgery rotation!
Please know that you are such a huge inspiration to so many. There are days when I feel like giving up on my Surgery dreams and you put out vlogs like this, and the dream lives on! Thank you for taking us with you through your journey. It has been amazing! We are so proud of you 🥹
It's so cool to see how confident you are now. I've been watching you for so many years, you truly are reaching your long dreamed goals! Congrats on the woman and doctar you are! So proud. Keep vloging please!!
I literally started watching you when I was 1st year in med school. Now I am a 4th year med student and currently already doing my clerkship. I have been feeling like shit lately for not being able to do things well, but seeing your blog motivated me again. Thank you America. You have no idea how many of us you have inspired.
It makes me so happy to see your updates in life and how everything has changed. You were the only med student TH-camr at the time who seemed really honest and open and it was such an inspiration. I really wish you and cute Calyx the best as you continue on your journey. 🩷
America, I’ve had an incredibly difficult time getting into medical school. When you graduated medical school I felt like I was watching my family graduate. I was so happy for you. Please continue to make videos I know it can be difficult especially with time but you help me, inspire me, and keep me going. I have no words to describe how helpful you are to me. Honestly.
we've missed you, you were the first med student that I've ever watched and it just makes me happy to see you doing well, i don't comment often but you are such an inspiration, just wanna let you know how much i appreciate your videos, much love from Libya 💓
Oh my god, I am SO happy you're back again. I got into med school this year as a non-traditional med student and you've been such a motivation to me! I rewatch all your videos a couple of times a year, because they're my comfort videos, especially the STEP series :)
I've been following your YT channel for 6 years now and seeing this vlog brings back memories, back then I was planning on achieving my goal to tell you how much your vids helped me get through the hard times when I was studying to get into medical school And here I'm now, fifth year medical student ( med school is of 6 years in my country) and still your talk and energy give me same positive vibes❤ so much love😖💗
And can I just say how amazing it is your chief resident!!! It just shows how incredible you are! Like that’s is a huge accomplishment and you should be proud ❤
I screamed when I saw the notification that you uploaded! Please don’t even feel like no one would watch your vlogs because you’re an absolute inspiration to myself & many. Hope to see more from you! Missed you so much. 🧡
No ways America... I intentionally search for your channel from time to time and have been watching your videos since your medical school vlogs... You have been a very big part of my motivation and journey into medical school.... Keep us posted ❤️❤️❤️
C’mon on board again Yay! Dr America you are the one of the most relatable medico I have seen. You talked about how you feeling , your high and low scores….uff memories😊 Anyway I am glad you’re back🎉
Have watched you since you were a Med 1 and as I was applying to medical school. Now I’m in my final year and applying to Family Med residency. Love these vlogs, your journey and how far you’ve come inspires the rest of us women in medicine. We are all so proud of you 💕 and so happy you decided to make videos again💕💕💕
Hi America I've been following since 2017 and your journey has been incredible. I'm so proud of your progress and I'm so excited for you and your path forward in your medical career. I think you should absolutely continue vlogging when time allows. Thank you so much for this amazing video. I pray that you are successful in all your endeavours.
Just here to say that I watched all of your older vlogs when I was in nursing school. You helped motivate me so much. I’m so glad you posted this! ILY!🫶🏼
The way you ended the video by telling us that you're teaching other med students what you know made me so emotional! You inspire me and motivate me to keep dreaming big and working hard.
I started watching you in 2017 when I was a sophomore in higjschool and u were a med student, now i’m in my masters and you’re chief resident ?!?!! holy cow time flies. so proud of u❤
I can remember exactly how I used to feel years ago watching your amazing vlogs Dr. Revere. The motivation and the passion fill me up when I watch your vlogs, because you are such a dedicated and successful person. God bless you!
I have been watching you ever since you were preparing for your USMLE and now I am a medical student too! Somehow your vlogs always make me nostalgic and make me feel very proud of us
Hi America! I remember watching your vlogs on taking STEP 1. I was still a first year med student at that time. Until now, I still remember your advices on how to study. Now, I just recently passed my licensure exam as an MD. Thank you for being an inspiration. You are one of my role models. Love from the Philippines!
Hi America. So good to see you again. I have been following you since you first started medical school. You are truly an inspiration. It has been wonderful following your journey over the years.
I think you were studying for Step 1 during one vlog, and you had a bookmark that said, “Dear Future Patients, this is for you”. And I think about that SO often. I am in my first year of med school & made my own bookmark for the great First Aid book. You are ONE THOUSAND PERCENT inspiring us younger future docs with these. (And I’m sure countless other professions) thank you thank you thank you!
so crazy to watch you progress in your surgical training, from med student to residency. I used to watch you as a nursing student and now I’m an OR nurse myself!
Wowwww. I watched you for years, I’m not even in medicine I was a nursing student at the time and I just really loved watching you cause it kept me motivated. The title really blew my mind, you made it!!! Congrats America ❤️
Hey America, just wanted to get smth out of the way->I would totally watch ur vids, I discovered u in my 4th year of med school, it felt super comforting to know that someone was going through my same struggles whilst being surrounded in the physical world by people who said they hardly studied. I started neurology residency in 2020 and its still very tough but I still watch your vids :) greetings from germany
I follow your progress since step 1, and I see that you've grown to become one confident doctor who knows what they're doing. That makes me hopeful I'll become one since I'm so insecure and still unsure if my choice for career in medicine is the right one for me.
Watching your vlog made me remember just why I fell in love with medicine and why I’ve been working so hard striving for it 🥹 Thank you so much for showing us how your work week looks like ❤
Hey guys! I think my next video will be a Q/A. Most people sent questions via Instagram but feel free to comment under this anything you'd like to ask!
Why did you take down some of your older rotation vlogs?🥹
How did you overcome fear and gain trust to handle patients?
Why did you take down some of your vlogs back from med school? 😢
Can you give an overview of when you completed med school, your intern year, what's ahead, etc? More of a timeline of your medicine life?
How can hospitals improve the communication among doctors, mid-level PAs, and nurses?
Honestly, you’re the same person you were when you started med school. Your content inspires me to not give up at the most crucial times.
😂 I’m glad you think so!
Yes she totally is. She is just a lot more confident, which I love to see!
I’ve watched you during my formative years from young teenager into an adult and you are my ultimate inspiration.
thank you so much

Honestly.
I've been watching for forever!!! Girl so happy for you! I'll always be here to cheer you in 😊

Always a good day when we get a video update from Dr. Revere.
Hi America! I remember watching your vlogs on taking STEP 1. I was still a first year med student at that time. Until now, I still remember your advices on how to study. Now, I just recently passed my licensure exam as an MD. Thank you for being an inspiration. You are one of my role models.
Love from the Philippines!
You are amazing. I started watching you in grad school, love seeing how far youve come! And calyx - the return of the big boy!
Yay! America and Calyx are back! I just finished my trauma surgery rotation as a MS3.
so crazy to watch you progress in your surgical training, from med student to residency.
I have definitely missed your vlogs! Love them! Thank you for coming back! 😊
Watching your vlog made me remember just why I fell in love with medicine and why I’ve been working so hard striving for it 🥹 Thank you so much for showing us how your work week looks like ❤
