    Would you be able to tell us the size yarn to try ?

    I'm confused as to which type or size of yarn to buy that fits in the needle or does it matter?

    • @Jawylin
      @Jawylin  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Either a medium or small yarn works! It really depends on how thick you want your coaster :)

    The hoop fastener has a cross shaped end to use a philips screwdriver to tighten it.

      For the one I'm using in the video, it does not, which is why I used pliers! However, hoops with those kinds of hoop fasteners seem much more helpful too!

    Hello, your content is beautiful. I liked it. I would like to ask you what is the appropriate thread for embroidery and what is the appropriate fabric. Thank you.

      Hello! I have most of my materials recommended in the description however it would be best for punch needle art! I'm not too familiar with embroidery:)

    I’m about to give up. I’ve tried to do punch needle embroidery today and it was a complete failure. What size yarn do I need? I have a #3 needle and size 3 yarn. It doesn’t work.

      What issues have you been experiencing? Maybe I could figure out how to help you if I know what's going wrong! :) Also, what kind of material of your yarn are you using?

      @@Jawylin I’m using 100% acrylic yarn brand I love this yarn! Size 3 light. Needle size 3. I was told by the lady at Hobby Lobby that this would work with Muslin fabric and it didn’t so I went to go buy Monks cloth and it still didn’t work.

    Thank you for the tutorial! I tried ounch needling for the first time and it was a disaster 😢 i dont know what im doi g wrong. I bought the Mina Carin punch neddle. I went to a hobby store and got acrylic yarn. Seems like the yarn wouldnt stay. I wasnt taking the needle out too early. I dont know what im doing wrong 😢

    • @Jawylin
      @Jawylin  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It could either be your punch needle isn't the right size for the yarn size you're using, or, the fabric you're punching into isn't compatible! Also, make sure you go in the direction of the punch needle like I am in the video! :)

      @Jawylin thanks! I bought monk cloth. I bought yarn from Michael's and Hobby Lobby. I think it says US size 6 yarn. I don't know what size I'm supposed to get. Some yarn looks so thick and some yarn looks like thread.
