I never comment on anything, but this was beautiful. What a strong, incredible, amazing woman. Wow. You are the reason change happens. Just Wow. I'm in tears.
What an incredible speaker! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. Your truth is clearly there for all to see. I remember back in 1993 I stumbled on a book called In the Spirit of Crazy Horse by Peter Matthiessen in an Alberta book shop. As i had an affinity with the native American culture I decided to buy it. When I read about the crimes being carried out against the beautiful people I was truly moved to tears on many occasions. The FBI were criminals who had declared war against the American Indian Movement. I feel your pain but 2022 will be the year where you feel the fruits of your efforts begin to materialise. God bless the native people and God bless humanity. We are all one.

What do you mean? A lawyer must be admitted to practice in a Federal court in a particular jurisdiction. Sometimes this is called being a "licensed Federal attorney".
TaNeel is gorgeous and looks just like my grandmother! ❤️ I do disagree that human trafficking is only a colonization issue. My dad has told me stories about his tribe being known for stealing women and horses before the European colonizers.
Horses did not exist in the Americas before European arrival, at least not the kind we know today and not for millions of years. Also, that's not the same thing as Human Trafficking. Was it kidnapping? Yes. Trafficking? No.
Trafficking is worldwide and has been happening since the first caveman clubbed a female and dragged her home. Children are bought and sold every day every where. Illegal adoption and abandonment. Socioeconomics playing a role.
Idk why but her whole presence feels disingenuous and forced to try and get a point across. I believe tribals should just be left alone and when they ask for help then give them help. If you really care about tribalism stop wasting your time on tedtalks and get our and meet us.
What has she actually accomplished though? Other than just promoting herself and bullying students at Salish Kootenai College? Shameful. There is a reason why she isn't well-respected in the community, but outsiders keep conveniently overlooking that because of how she markets herself.
What have you accomplished by tearing her down on the internet, where things live forever? Her words spoke true and the sentiments are felt in the hearts of all our people.
@@LitaMendoza07 By speaking my truth and not contributing to erasure of actual activists and advocates within the community. Part of the problem with our communities is that we don't want to hold our own accountable, despite the fact they are committing injustice and in her specific case, outright anti-Indigenous harassment, erasure, and misrepresentation. It's one thing to be proud of the culture, it's a whole different thing to give people a pass for problematic behavior. Check yourself first before spewing some ridiculous anti-Indigenous sentiment.

Spent about 9 minutes to just talk about herself, still trying to figure out what was the point of this. No disrespect but this isn’t it.
