Cheers to Youth was written by Woozi, with Hoshi as his inspiration hence the tiger cameo 😅🤭 Hoshi said something along these lines "it's my first time living today" when he did something that made the members upset(?) during their ment at a concert

For Jeonghan's & wonwoo's song, they released a 30 minutes audio film/story explaing the story to the mv

Spell is exactly what the title says. It's magic, and it does something unexplainable to us all. 😅😂 The song itself, the styling, the MV...ugh. And it's not like they're just attractive in it, they're like ethereal, and androgynous, and other-worldly... just magic.

omg kaia never feel like you have to apologize for reacting to something "late", believe me when I say that whenever your reactions pop up in my feed it makes my day- regardless of when it is! when "spell" was released, my mind immediately went to you because I knew you were going to lose your mind (I mean, hao in that video is basically illegal but, androgynous jun coming in and putting us in a chokehold out of literally nowhere? iconic behaviour).
    edit: also the tiger at the credits from "cheers to youth" is a reference to hoshi since woozi was inspired to write the song after hoshi told them "I'm sorry, it's my first time living this life too" after messing something up ;__;

Seventeen's upsuits are so good and visual and impeccable voices, which thrill myself before seeing, because I know that only good and creative things come, surprised me more than I expected, in fact they got me and burned my day, kkkkkkkkkk, all talented, singers, rapper, dancers, sexy and etc .... There's nothing to go wrong or have bad music. All are top10 and guaranteed trend. It's a lot of fire, fire. Hoo my God, I'm here on fire, I'm going to take a very cold shower. Thanks for the reaction.😻🔥🔥🔥❤😂🤣😂

Theory, Last Night: As it says on the album, this is based on an urban legend called "this man," a man who can appear in people's dreams and give them advice. To sleep with good dreams basically, he is creating his world away from the harsh reality, he is fleeing where he is sad with all people wearing the sheets. You can see the lights out and how some buildings are covered when it does it. Wonwoo listens to people talking alongside the vanding machine about someone who can fulfill their desire at the beginning. He sees people sleeping and wakes them up after comforting them. The two pass through the door to the dream world and Wonwoo begins. Chasing Jeonghan, he finally finds him in someone's dream, but Jeonghan turns powder to escape, so Wonwoo continues to wake up all Jeonghan puts to sleep. Revealed and the lights are working throughout the city, which means that Wonwoo woke up everyone. I believe this last scene is set in the dream world and when playing Jeonghan and he fainting, Wonwoo really wakes him up. That little lamoned is the only colorful thing throughout MV and all people drink after waking up represents Wonwoo making everyone face their reality even if it is bitter. The last part in which Jeonghan is drinking lamoned, finally facing reality after fleeing her for so long, it's fair. (Only theories).

Both Jeonghan and Wonwoo are "This Man"...one puts people to sleep, the other wakes them up. That's why the teaser poster face is 1/2 Wonwoo's face, and 1/2 Jeonghan's.
    Link to poster teaser: th-cam.com/users/shortsmuNSbtOa_M0?si=KitlVfEIux-GItcx
Jeonghan offers to take people to a place where all their dreams come true; however, he's forgotten the reason he's doing this, and the dreams begin to turn to dust. Wonwoo, who drinks lemonade (tarata) symbolizing the bittersweetness of reality vs. the fake fantasyland of dreams, wakes people up from Jeonghan's dreams, bringing them back to reality. In the end, Jeonghan no longer wants to deal with dreams that turn to dust because he can't remember his purpose, and he submits to Wonwoo as a plea for help. Wonwoo obliges and wakes him up. We then see Jeonghan with a glass of lemonade.
Jeonghan and Wonwoo narrate a 37-minute audiobook video telling the full story behind the song if you're interested:
    th-cam.com/video/40doouM3jsI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lEYd7DDddZM4-qmP
The song is based on the urban/internet legend of "This Man" (popped up several years ago) who has reportedly appeared in many people's dreams. (He's a REALLY creepy looking guy!) To learn more about the REAL "This Man": www.ThisMan.org
"Nox" is the Latin name of the Roman goddess of the night. It was also used as a spell in Harry Potter to turn off lights.
"Tarata" means "lemon wood", but refers to lemons, lemon juice and/or lemonade. Lemonade in the video represents life...both bitter and sweet versus the fantasyland found in dreams.
The guitar is performed by Park Joo-won who is a South Korean gypsy guitarist and quite popular there.
And one thing more: Woozi definitely wrote/composed this (confirmed by Jeonghan and Wonwoo) and assisted in its production. Just further proof of his SHEER GENIUS that he can master ALL styles of music! Kudos to Jeonghan and Wonwoo...but standing ovation to Woozi!!

Hi! Have you reacted to Kaia? They are Pinoy Pop (P-Pop) group from the Philippines. Some of their songs are "You Did It", "5678", and my all time favorite, "Dalawa". You should check their discography. Especially because you are Kaia.🫶

Lalali has similar pronunciation to a Korean word meaning delinquent/someone who doesn't follow the rules and it's kind of reflected in the MV.
The adila kiya part is probably my favorite part of Spell and as a Dino ult, I lost it at his hip move. Recommend the dance practice sketch, cause their interactions with Kristen were so wholesome.
Cheers to youth: tiny issue club (tissue club) is a place for those with problems to come together. Woozi who wouldn't socialize, Lonely Kwan, Meerkat Shua, Student DK and Hannie who wore glasses cause he was afraid to see the world as it is. Woozi said Hoshi appeared cause his issie is thinking he's a tiger but it's probably a lil tribute cause he was the inspiration behind the song.
I'm yet to listen to the Last Night audiobook but something Wonwoo said before about the MV was "both of us have the power to manipulate using dreams. jeonghan tries to trap them in sweet dreams and i try to wake them up from the dreams. jeonghan forgot his purpose of why he's putting people to sleep so i woke him up from the dream and it ended"

my interpretation of last night, I'm thinking something something Jeonghan is a Sandman type of character, but he seems to be keeping people in their dreams instead of letting them live in reality? The beginning dialogue that says "he appears in a dream and whispers, 'I'll take you to a place where all your wishes will come true'" and then "who wouldn't want to go with him?" makes me think that Jeonghan has maybe unintentionally turned into some kind of "villain" where he's making people sleep and trapping them in their dreams for whatever reason
don't really know Wonwoo's role, but he seems to be chasing after Jeonghan and trying to find him -- that shot where he touches Jeonghan's forehead before he collapses makes me think that Wonwoo has "woken him up" (as he was doing to other ppl throughout the MV). At the end we see Jeonghan waking up in a bed, so maybe he himself was also trapped or willingly living in a dream. Jeonghan gives me sympathetic villain/morally grey character vibes -- maybe he thinks he's helping these people or something has happened to him that's driven him to think that this is the best solution
but as someone else said, I think they explained the story truthfully and much better in an audiobook thing! those were just my initial thoughts 😁 it's funny bc the latest update of the game that I'm obsessed with right now also deals with dreams vs. reality and trapping people inside of a seemingly perfect dream, so I'm just a little obsessed with this MV's storyline, even though I don't fully understand lmaooo

It's up!! Ever since I first saw the 'Spell' mv, I've been looking forward to your reaction. Hypnotizing, enthralling... no, I haven't been playing it every time it's evening/night & I need to leave my room. Why would you think that? I also was looking forward to you seeing the tiger because I knew it would make you laugh.
