I think what makes Chapter 5 sad is that Brian didn’t intend to kill Fluttershy, but rather himself. If Fluttershy was too late to stop Brian, she’d still be alive!
It’s crazy how like canon danganronpa, it raised a huge “what if” scenario.

I love in the final "execution" how the executions was Given to the five survivors. It's not just coincidence why they were given those executions. These executions were chosen to them as to what role the characters had in those cases.
In case 1 it was luigi's brother mario who killed the victim.
In case 2 conductor became the main suspect because of his rivalry to king dedede.
In case 3 like conductor, yandere chan became the main suspect because of her secret.
In case 4 nagito helped sans in his sceam and wanted to save him by taking the blame.
And In case 5 parappa had a close releatsion to the culprit and even tried to save him.
That's a Detail i love.

How The Hell Did They Find The Executions
@@Zpixi09 Well, the creator of this Fanganronpa actually uploaded videos of the executions and body discoveries. If you read the ao3 book of the fanganronpa, you can click on 'IT'S PUNISHMENT TIME' thing when it appears, and then it leads you to the execution. And for the body discoveries, you also have to go to the ao3 as well, and click on the 'the body of ' and then it leads you to the videos.
THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE 96 LIKES WHEN YOU SWITCH THE NUMBERS IT WILL SAY 69 AND THE FACT THAT THE TITLES NAME IS DANGANRONPA 69

@@bahesb2419 "Execution.file" Sonic appears on the hill level, the first thing he sees is tails with a sad-dissapointed expression looking at him, the screen immediately cuts out to the hide and seek level, tails dead infront of sonic, sonic tries to ignore it and looks behind him, only to see sonic.exe, sonic immediately looks back and runs as quickly as he can, he reaches the end of the level, but theres isnt a ring, sign or anything, he looks behind him again, the screen cuts to a black background with the sonic icon thing that shows how many lives he has, the icon seems to be sweating, the screen then cuts to the number "0"
I was rooting for sansa and really wanted him to survive, I am so upset that he was executed

Basically sans excution was Monokuma was the player,
The sans stage in undertake is hard so that explains
Why Sans kept killing monokuma(player)
But monokuma always respawned since it was a video game,
While sans was mourning Nagito since he thought he was dead
The player (monokuma) got the chance to stab sans in the back,
Representing how the player finally won the sans stage
Brian :basically the were Knifves in the books Brian was forced to read
So he found the escape door and he knew he was gonna get killed so
He didn’t want monokuma enjoy killing him so he killed him self by an upcoming car.
Miku and Teto(AGAIN): basically burned alive
Sans: Welp, your friendly neighbour Sans the Skeleton, who HOPEfully used to be beside you...I would like it if you remembered that. ...That's it guys.
Nagito: How many times...do you have to keep...I don't need any other Hope.
Sans: I was HOPeing...you said that...
Monokuma: Then let's begin! The punishment time brimming with despair!
Nagito: Jeez, why don't you get it yet...?
Monokuma: This time, for the ultimate comedian, Sans the Skeleton...
Nagito: You stayed by me side...all this time...why don't you get it...?
Monokuma: I've prepared a very special punishment for you!
Nagito: I've never needed a blue or a special attack...
(Flashbacks of Nagito and Sans of having met since it's childhood)
Nagito: I've never needed a Gaster Blaster...S-so...You didn't need to become Hope...
Monokuma: Let's give it everything we got!
Nagito: You just...you just needed to be yourself...I never wanted your Hope! I just wanted you! Only you! You're my hope!
Sans: Kiddo?

Monokuma: Let's go! It's PUNISHMENT TIME!

I noticed those two cases have actually a lot in common with each other:
1) A sad case with a murder planned and executed by two people. It's up to interpretation whether they're in love.
2) One of the culprits was willing to sacrifice their life for the other to survive because of their messed up image of themselves.
3) The party not chosen as the "true" culprit interferes with the other's execution and gets injured. They end up surviving the rest of the killing game, though. Also, even the execution music is the same.
4) The person not chosen as the culprit also does the Argument Armament/PTA for the true culprit.
5) The motive is related to a sibling of one of the culprits.
6) The murder weapon is a baseball bat.
In any case I love both of them 😅

Fluttershy’s death made me cry but Brian’s execution made me cry the most he was my favorite
I still cry over Brian’s death man, people forget that he is genuinely intelligent because of how pretentious he can be.
I really thought ayano would be framed for Fluttershy’s death but I was equal parts impressed and sad to find out that Brian was in fact responsible for her death. It’s just like him to want to take his life but to also not want to give the MM satisfaction of claiming him as a victim of their game, then going off and setting up a convoluted murder mystery plot on his own to accomplish that.
Yes, Monokuma’s inability to select a culprit would give the survivors a chance of escape, but his primary motives were self-serving: to die in peace and to personally spite the captor. I thought he’d survive but I can’t complain about his final fate either.
And to think that if Monokuma hadn’t started attempting to execute survivors at random, he would’ve beat the trial; which brings him closer than Momota ever was in V3.

Not gonna lie, Ashley seems a little too obvious as a killer.
Between her gothic demeanour and twintails, she's a bit too close to Celestia to be that surprising a culprit. I think she'd have fit more as a victim or survivor.
