- This is an epic documentary style video where I showcased how wintraders do their thing and how they are destroying Brawl Stars. It happens in Solo Showdown, Duo Showdown and 3v3 and there are a couple of ways to fix this problem.
Hopefully Supercell will do something about it soon!

The blacklist duration was decreased due to trophy pushers clearing matchmaking easily and getting matched against opponents with much lower trophy counts. For this reason, the blacklist can't be increased again, but I agree that player names shouldn't be visible above 750 trophies. And also I hope that supercell can find a way to reduce teaming, because solo showdown is unplayable right now.

What is the name visibility limit now? It used to around 600~700 cups? Which is very reachable without cheating on gamemodes other than solo, and It was pretty annoying and I am glad they moved it up.

Im a teamer, but i agree, i stopped playing brawl stars because of my own race.
At this point, I don't even think showdown should be a game mode anymore.
That would kill the game as it’s the most played mode

@@LoganMega Back in the day teaming (very often) started in 900+ cups now after 750 everyone just spins the moment they see someone they are all pussys. I would understand a 10 year old kid doing this but when someone over 18 does it its just pethetic. You can probably buy a maxed account to 3000 USD. But to get it there you have to play about 1000+ hours wich is not worth the money but only play if you enjoy all those hard tryers are just dumb imo.
I agree I was playing at 800+ trophies and almost all the players at that time were just targeting me

Today i started a solo showdown game BY MISTAKE with Maisie at ~780 trophies, well 8 people were teaming and rejected me and a primo for literal no reason, i think they where doing this strat too...
That’s probably not wintrading, 800 is pretty Low and wintrading only happens above 1k usually

@@marcovaleriofranco9310 750+ everybody teams. If the Bo was the only one using the wifi pin he might've been lagging or something, but still possible.
The fix is a lot simpler than people think. Supercell just needs to start banning people and make the bannings harsh. At least a month of ban to start. Second offense is a 3 month ban. Third offense is for life. Once people start realizing that there will be harsh consequences they will stop pretty quickly.
How will they detect teaming then
The problem here is is that teaming is way to easy. Imagine you team on accident by not shooting someone and you get banned
No it isn’t, there won’t be an auto software to detect if people are just teaming, or being in the same clan and doing this strategy.

I thought teaming was bad, bit matchmaking abusers need the bigger boot. Teaming is kinda wholesome, but fixed teaming is just utter bs. Don't get me wrong, I hate teamers still, but we have a larger issue at hand now😢
Fun fact: Supercell used to make that above 650+ trophies, every brawler was named ?. They later removed it for no reason and it wasn't even in the patch notes.
Edit: My bad, it was actually in the patch notes. Even if they revert to 12 hours blacklisting and rename the players, the new cosmetics and battle cards makes it easier to identify one and another. They made it so that after 30 minutes you can face same opponents just to make matchmaking faster, but this idea backfired horribly.
The reason was it was mildly annoying and completely unnecessary. 700 cups is reachable without cheating, so they moved it up. The new trophy reset mechanism also means players will start accumulating trophies and average mass players is expected to slowly move up from 500 to 600 and maybe 700.
Its now for like 850-1000

@@SomeCowguy That's how it used to be. Now it only resets top 10 brawlers a month, allowing you to accumulate trophies on the rest of the cast even by playing them occasionally.
Other than that, people who are actually trying to push trophies find it much easier to do so with new reset, allowing them to move up and leave the 500 range, making it easier to get wins for casual players at 500.

Yeah, it will make many players want to get higher but I don't think the average player can get Rank 30+
They should add a report system like in Mobile Legends : Bang Bang. So basically you can report players for doing specific things like feeding very hard or win trading. Well this partially exist in Power League, but the system ain't punishing enough. It can lead to low priority matchmaking or to ban in matchmaking, or even worse, ban in game

The power league report button is where they started and are testing it to see if it's viable, they said that around the gears update (Not exactly that update, just around it I can't remember exactly when)
Though, remember that adding a ban system is really, REALLY, hard for many games, specially those that didn't had it from the beginning. They would have to go through a lot of accounts that wouldn't exists if the ban sys was implement since day 0.

Bro his exact thing happened to me while I was pushing ash mastery, and there was a group of 6 people using the wifi pin, and they all started shooting me, but they didn't kill me. I killed 3 of them, and then I teamed wit a random guy, and got first place

Supercell better bans those wintraders
Supercell could easily remove teaming (just punish players who stay close for too long) but they wont because people will bring their friends for pushing.
i wanted to push a rank 30 in showdown like a meg or shelly but now i hear so much about wintrading that i think that it is a time waste to push 900+ with randoms or in showdown

i knew teaming was bad, but i didnt realize it went this deep, just thought it was people being annoying
same, just because of some un-skilled annoying kids the game becomes no more fun to play (especially showdown). If they decide not to do anything against teaming, ok. But they should ban win traders.
@@The.Sketchy I feel teaming in certain scenarios is fine, such as taking down the guy with 17 power cubes, but win trading is a whole new league of scummy
Showdown plus would've been the goat for win traders, almost doubling the output for the player. I can see why it was removed, even though it did mostly counter teaming and actually helped normal players.
What makes me really upset is that Frank himself has stated on Twitter that he doesn't see any real reason to take reasonable action against teaming. He says the implications of punishments would be way too complicated and the intent of teaming can't be proven in a lot of cases... That's ridiculous IMO.

By this point I'm actually having more fun playing on my lower trophy alt accounts because of how extreme this is on my high trophy main account. I won't blame Supercell here, they are some of the best game developers imaginable. However I do hope that they will try to do something against this.
This needs to be fixed quickly or playing as a solo player in showdown and team modes would be impossible. Also they should make the cooldown 12 hours cuz if they make it 24 hours people wpuld clear matchmaking and get easy ranks. Also they can make teaming bannable office and make names unvisible. Rip solo players

Wintrading was something that I experienced very often in private server like Retro Brawl or Magic Brawl, which was played mostly by Russians, I guess those people found out about wintrading from these and started doing it in normal brawl stars..
I think if you’re caught cheating you go on trial and face public execution, that might slow cheating down

The damage will stop if u hit an enemy but after sometime it will start again but seperate it with one gamemode which can team so tanks dont go downhill/useless

I'm new to pushing high trophies, I only had Shelly at rank 25 at the highest. I decided to get her to rank 30, and it was quite fun. I've even gotten on Brawl TV for the first time which was a fun game. But like 3 times that night I would get into a Solo Showdown game where everyone, or most people are nanis. I would always lose those games and I would check the battle log and everyone who wasn't using nani got killed. I assume these were people cheating, since it was the same people.

Actually I’ve seen people use Cordelious to team even more effectively since, they can’t be attacked and are both invisible to everyone else 😂

Yeah i'm a duo main and i have 12k wins in the mode, last week i was trying to push Belle to 1050-1100 but i kept on facing win traders, so yeah i think they should reverse the name visibility and the mm clear.

i wish that there is like moderators watching games to catch people cause they 100% will find ways and even hacks to get around everything that gets in their way

I don't think this will destroy the game since teaming already existed and this just an improved version of it but it might spread to other game modes which is pretty concerning.

Considering that a certain big youtuber at the time of global launch made a video about banning teaming 4 years ago, its definantly a problem that has gotten worst because supercell doesn’t do anything about it.

I really hate that this is a problem inside the community, but at least Supercell gave us something to hope for, that report button from power league is the first step they took into adding some ban system into the game.
It's been there for a while, yeah, but because is something hard to deal with, i mean, by adding a ban system they would have to go through a lot of accounts that where cheating since a long time and are now being reported, meaning they would have a lot of work to do once it's implemented to handle the old and new accounts being reported.
It's comprehensive that a system like this is taking them so long to figure out, specially since they're adding it so late. But at least i hope they get to make something functional to solve this problem.
Though thinking a bit further, i recall someone from supercell (Probably Frank) saying that banning people would be some kind of last resort if they don't find a more friendly way of handly teaming and cheating
Btw, this showdown trend started and diffused like when the update of rank 35 was added. This thing needed to be resolved at the beginning

I was a professional player in the Apac server until I ended up seeing the truth with my own eyes. Masters were all win trades, not a single player earned it. I got into fights with so many of the players that all decided to throw matches when I'm with them. And hence I was forced to stay away from power league and it's been 8 months since I played brawl stars. No wonder why Apac regions are literal dogshit who never got above last rank in worlds 💀. (I managed legendary 3 without win trading but snipes got the best of me)
I think even making names is invisible they can talk in discord with voice chat they can say like "ay bro are you the (brawler) with that (skin)?"

i literally pushed my edgar rank 25, it felt soo insanely great, it was a pain to do, but when it happened, it was a really big achievement, my edgar currently is 720-30 trophies, i think this season ill try getting him to 800 trophies, maybe even 900, we will see

Despite having many rank 35’s, I deleted this toxic game full of cheaters, bots, spinners etc and have no regrets
You can report people in power league mode, they should add that option to the rest of the modes.

The things I hate about pushing trophies
1: in 3v3 modes is getting terrible/moody (throw the match as soon as we start losing) randoms since none of my friends play brawl stars
2: in showdown is getting teamed up on and they don’t even have to be wintraders to be equally as annoying
3: in duels it is just so inconvenient gaining such little trophies on each brawler and when you lose it sets you back like 20 minutes of progress (still duels was the best for pushing trophies since it was the fairest mode)
I’d agree with that last statement if certain brawlers are nerfed tbh.
Wintrading's always been a thing, some of those players are actual friends of mine, 3v3s, solos and duos have always been like that, snipes, wintrading are common things among high trophy pushing, pl is full of it too, or was, I quit brawl stars a year ago, they added the report system so I dunno if anything changed since then, it was mostly squads tho...

just make showdown bleed mode permanently , so if they don't kill each other they die, no more spining

supercell is "trying" to fix teaming issues like these with their useless showdown modes like topdog that no teamers swap to. they claim to want to fix teaming, but if they really wanted to get rid of it, they would add actual punishments instead of wasting time.

dam, playing with shelly at 1k on almost all showdown maps i really see a lot of these groups, they are not very skilled for sure and dont expect to die from a clay pigeon.
You know what bro wintrading is already a thing in games . Not on this game but some games like , Valorant , Leagues of legends etc .

Unreal. I don't understand how they do it, no matter how much I play, it still doesn't work for me, I won/lost and so on all the time in the same place, it's kind of random, so now I don't see the point of playing this game, I waste a lot of time, and the result is 0

I got all of my r35's in showdown without this, I mean I did team and backstab but that is a part of the game. I can say it was a bloody job and now when I see how people easily got to r35's I played so long for, it makes me just uninstall the game...
Now you can see enemy’s names… now the blacklist time is 30 mintes… makes me think someone is pulling some strings

If u check global leaderboard rn 2nd place is in a win trade club and top 50 there is so many win traders

How does these "win traders" keep a positive sum of trophys? As a person who had quit brawl stars 1 and a half year ago i don't really get it
