I’m only 15 but I’ve been taught to focus on school, my career, and my future so living like a teen isn’t really something I’m able to do but when I watch your videos it reminds me that I don’t need to have my life all figured out rn and to live life in the moment.
i don't know if you'll read this or if it'll be of any use but if you want an easy way to know whether or not to get rid of clothes, put all the hangers backwards on the rack, and once you've finished wearing it, put it back the opposite way. the next time you want to clean out your closet, ( probably in 6 months or a year for me, since my style changes so i usually get new clothes to fit that style ) check which hangers are still facing backwards and those can be the clothes you get rid of since you haven't worn them in so long. ( if you haven't worn it in a really long time, you're most likely never going to anytime soon ) i used to keep clothes a lot with the 'oh i'll eventually wear this, i just need the right *insert article of clothing* to go with it !' and i usually never got whatever item i wanted to match with it. i realised i keep a lot of clothes out of fear or running out --- bit of an odd fear, i know, but i used to struggle with the issue of never having clothes that fit me, because my weight was always in between, and sizes were always by twos. 12, 14, 16, 18. i was always right in between numbers --- a 14 would be too small, while a 16 was too big. but the more i remind myself that i'm getting newer, better clothes that *will* fit and i *will* wear on more than one or two occasions, the easier it is to get rid of the older clothes. apologies for the rant but ! to whoever sees this comment, hopefully this method might work for you !
