I was just reading about this, apparently their tour in 2010 was cut short because Garfunkel's voice hadn't been maintained since the 70s (few voices remain the same for 40 years) and i guess Garfunkel hadn't been completely honest about it?
@@LMMEjsmith It was because one of his vocal chords got strained or something, so he had to get it repaired (I think smoking had something to do with it but I'm not 100% sure). If you listen to any of the videos of them playing at the Jazz fest, you'll see how bad it got. That's why this was their last concert or show together (to this date at least, January 20th 2022). Yeah I don't think it had anything to do with that lol I think it was moreso the decades of smoking.
Voice never recovered. He has adapted well over the years since.
