The last word in Changbin’s second verse is jutdae, which means “principles”. It seems to be a reoccurring thing theme with Changbin. It made an appearance in the Thunderous trailer as well in the form of a light box sign.

Thank you for your reaction. For the phrase I'm not sorry, I'm dirty, I think it refers to the idol image that has to be "very..very clean".
Can I suggest the stray kids' first take. There are 3 songs: Slump, OH and Scars. You can see a different side of stray kids on this since they will sing live in just one take

    - You've heard Seungmin and I.N both rap. You've seen Christmas EveL (I.N), Maknae on Top (I.N), and Cheese (Seungmin). So you haven't seen a _lot_ of them rapping, or seen anything they go that hard in, but you have seen it.
    - The line distribution in Thunderous is very balanced, yes, with the gap between least and most being less than six seconds. As of the last large-scale calculation, SKZ's discography has the overall most even line distribution in the industry. Since they write the songs themselves and have no set positions to get boxed into (and thus are free to move around between rap and vocals), and since each member _chooses_ what lines he wants, they're able to keep their distribution extremely fair, and no one ends up playing backup member to a couple of stars. If there's ever a song, especially a song from God's Menu on forward, that seems to be lacking much from a member or members, it's because that member or members _chose_ not to do as many lines in that song. For instance, Lee Know in God's Menu; we were legitimately robbed of his screen time in the video, but he _chose_ not to have many lines, as he didn't feel his voice suited the song. And if a song is structurally geared more toward, say, the more frequent rappers, then another song on the album will be made to feature more vocals and balance out the overall line distribution on the album.
    - There are plenty of traditional elements in the visuals, obviously, as well as in the video-specific story/metaphor (SKZ are dokkaebi -- Korean goblins -- descending to lead a revolution and win a sorikkun [traditional singer] contest while defeating "villains" who naysay and oppose new sounds). But the elements of traditional Korean _music_ are in Changbin's pansori-esque moment (when he's holding the fan and doing the unusual flow in the second part of his rap in the opening verse) and in the instrumentation. The song features numerous traditional Korean instruments from several types of Korean folk music (various drums, cymbals, horns, etc), and by the end of the song, those traditional instruments have grown to be the primary instrumentation.
    - The "ptui, ptui, ptui" sound when they spit into their hands is just a literal onomatopoeia for the sound of spitting. There's no secondary meeting. It's spit.
    - At this point, at least five of them have put their names in song lyrics. Possibly six, but I'm blanking on what I think I remember noting as Seungmin's recent addition, so I can't verify. Still, at least 5/8 of them are named in songs. Two of them each literally have an entire song _about_ them.

I'm not sorry, I'm dirty is them saying they're not sorry they're not doing what most people do or expect them to as followed by the line I don't play by the rules and sorry=sori=noise so alot of play on words there too.

Also I think "dirty" refers to them always working & getting Sh*t done.

I know I've said it before, but Seungmin was most definitely not shy, even at the very start. That's simply not him. He was boxed into a lead vocal position behind Woojin as main because SKZ still had official positions at the time and thus a positional hierarchy. And he _has_ deliberately worked on developing his stage presence, yes. But "shy" has not _ever_ applied to Seungmin, nor has a lack of confidence in his singing. EVER. He came into the company knowing how good he was and determined to become even better. One reason Chan chose him for SKZ is literally his readily visible self-confidence and forward behavior while he was there for auditions, before he'd even been accepted as a trainee -- that's something Chan himself has specified. He's a member of SKZ BECAUSE he was never shy, and it caught Chan's attention.
Seungmin can be very polite and mannerly with outsiders, but he's had attitude since day one, which is why he's part of the savage line and why he and Lee Know were deemed the divorced couple before SKZ even debuted. I think you keep seeing him through a misleading traditional-maknae-colored filter or thinking "able to keep his mouth shut when the rest of them are in chaos" equals "shy." I.N had some shyness and lack of confidence. So did Felix. Seungmin never did, pure and simple, and thinking he did kind of takes away from the impressiveness of the confidence he's always had, when it was so cool that a 16-year-old kid came in with that much blatant chutzpah and self-belief and got himself noticed and chosen for this group literally BECAUSE _he wasn't shy._

First time watching this mv fully, didnt like it as soon as I heard it. I watched its live comeback stage tho and mv is better (thats often the problem with their live stages they don't get tranlated exactly from mv. Blackpink is another glaring example of that.) I find all their sounds are bit similar. I watched them in Kingdom live battle show amd thought The Boyz and Ateez (who recently sold out 2 day concert at The Forum LA) were far better than them in performance and vocals (also that time tbf SKZ were going through rough patch due to Hyunjin's bullying allegation). I find they heavily rely on Hyunjin's looks who is not the best dancer and performer if you watch his solos. Also on live stage they lack synergy and charm and isnt tight as a group. Personally I think Felix is a superb performer and the best in the group followed by Changbin. And I just like Bangchan's personality.
I think you will enjoy Kingdom and Queendom where kpop bg and gg battle out. Its a fun show and you get t to see great gg stages.
