- It was a humid Sunday afternoon, and the lovely folks at Brunswick's Pope Joan set us up in their courtyard. In return, some lucky customers received an impromptu acoustic song from a good looking Englishman -- and our guest of honour. I sat back and sipped on my pink grapefruit juice feeling decidedly untalented as he strummed his guitar, sang with that beautifully raspy voice, and then topped the whole thing off with a cheeky dart. Very few men can make smoking look sexy, but I think he pulled it off. Am I allowed to even say that?

I relate to this guy more than any other songwriter. And his voice is simply amazing, and the guitar playing is great. Funny jokes, sick licks, and angel tones. Can't go wrong. He's my inspiration

This song was awesome up until 2:23.
Then he started using a mouth trumpet and it got REALLY FREAKING AWESOME. Until 2:36 when it just got too awesome. This dude is amazing.

One of the best. Definitely. Prateek Kuhad (as the other comment stated) IS good. Check out "100 words". Going through an extremely difficult breakup as I am, this Passenger song and Prateek Kuhad's '100 Words' seem to apply, even help a little.

Susan T Old thread here but I always assumed the ear infection line was meant as a subtle symbolism for showing how scared he is to try to love, to the point where he makes excuses not to try.

Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) is an amazing songwriter and I really like his music, but Passenger is also an incredible artist, and I don't see why you don't like Mike if you like Justin because a lot of their music is very similar in style.
