Dude, I’m sure you’re a good guy and central cee is the man. But this interview is ABSOLUTELY AWEFUL. Watch any podcast where the interviewer knows how to to actually lead into questions and ease conversation i.e. JRE. This whole thing is and feels super forced and uncomfortable. His “questions” involve the complete answer and the guests only resort is to just be like “yeah” meaning (yeah you just gave the entire synopsis, not really sure what to add to that). Then he goes into random stories about irrelevant friends in unrelated areas, it’s bonkers dude.

There's a balance between full interrogation and inclusive conversation that even half decent interviewers through minimal research can string together. This is not that.

Seeing how he’s developed his skills and slowly blown up after seizing each and every opportunity he’s been giving has been inspirational! When we talk about British rappers breaking America for real, I think central cee is going to be the first, and he will open doors for other uk rappers too. As well as being a very talented lyricist and having a great flow, as well as his selection of beats being on point on most of his songs, his marketing is on the next level, kudos to central cee for having the brains to figure this shit out without even having signed to a major label. Going over to the US at this point, shooting the music video and going on the no jumper interview were all smart moves, as was his reluctance to do interviews in the beginning nine which added to some of the mystery behind him.
Skepta is big over in America but it came too late, he’s dropping an EP this year then he’s done with music. if they found him earlier shit would be a lot different to what it is lol
