Pastor can you help me?? Please!!! I'm crying so much right now! I need a miracle. I want to know if it's okay to marry my finance. He has been eloped (signed a marriage license & certificate) once before with no proposal &no wedding ceremony or vows. He was just trying to help his ex gf change her last name so she could get a job in the past with no genuine intent on marrying her because he didn't believe in marriage or the power it holds. He just wanted to help her out finding work. He now has a devorce decree. But I know there is scripture that says something along the lines of remarrying is a sin of adultery. But I want to know if he was even, TRULY married in the eyes of God. Some people live together for 7 years and both the government and people have consider themselves married after 7 years of living together. And some people get married completely drunk on a whim just meeting each other in Vegas at a bar for the first time. I want to know what is the right way to getting married that God considers and man and woman truly married. There was no wedding ceremony and I know Jesus in the bible always did things with ceremony to back it up. I want to know if he was truly married in the eyes of God or not. And so, THIS has been on my heart and it will kill me to have to leave my fiance my heart can't handle it. PLEASE HELP ME GOD AMEN!!! I'm feeling so anxious and worried idk what to do 😟
