Regardig the church its exactly what you guessed. The building is no longer in use and is used as a set for many music videos, tv shows, concert venues, etc.

It’s also in Koreatown in LA and probably happy to work with Korean artists. I just can’t imagine how this is a controversy. Literally John Wick was filmed there with shooting and murder. But somehow THIS is the moment the general public decides churches can’t be used as filming locations? It’s just too forced and obvious.

To be specific the room called Sanctuary it’s not a church. Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in lost angeles has a sanctuary, parlor room, 2 chapel , gym, rooftop basketball court and Parish hall. It also not a Catholic Church, it’s a Presbyterian Church who broke away from Catholic in the 15-16th century.

Amen! I attend a church, and one of the progressive things that my church did was held Super Bowl parties!!! Yes the church wants more attendants and they are willing to recognize the interests of its members. They already had a big screen television, the least they could do was throw a Super bowl party that was alcohol free!!!! I am not bothered by the church welcoming people instead of being too strict and severe in its beliefs.

As a christian person I have no quarrels with people using a church in the MV. It makes no sense to forbid/judge it unless it's like satanism.
I mean, according to a lot of people, one could say the eyes in the background and other symbolism could be satanism too, which wouldn’t be far fetched since you know how the music industry is and since you’re a christian too you know that satan runs the world, especially music.

The song is catchy AF, and the dancing is on point whoever made the choreography they slayed. It said that KBS banned the MV because of either the dancing at the church or that scene of chaewon in the bathtub where someone put a hair dryer in the tub and electrocuted her.

Yeah, about "The Church". They filmed in the old Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, which has been used as a set for music videos and films in the past. The church was used as a set for the films "The Amazing Spider-Man," "Legally Blonde 2," and "John Wick." Additionally, the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles filmed their cover of "True Colors" in the church. So people been going crazy stupid about this topic without doing little research.... very classic about people using social media... Also the fact that they are playing with the words Im Fearless~Le Sserafim, been Seraphims the highest rank angels in abrahamic mythology is very cleaver. But again people feeling offended over nothing is quite regular these days.

Sakura in both Scenes depicts a Seraphim (SSERAFIM) the bibilical representation of an Angel which can have multiple Forms / an Angel with burning Wings (Seraphim are also called the Blazed ones because of that) Kazuha had burning Wings in the UNFORGIVEN Trailer/MV and Sakura has covered Eyes which is also a representation of a Seraphim but also there is a non Human representation of a Seraphim in the shape of a creature with multiple Animal Heads one of them being a Lion with it's fangs Out (so I think that should be the Scene with Sakura and her teeth). And yes Yunjin is definitly supposed to be Freya that cries Gold tears. In Christianity Ivy stands for love, friendship, immortality and death. 👍🏻

Just so you guys know, the Presbyterian church that they filmed in is in California and was decommissioned (is not nor will be a place of worship) & is used for community service events, concerts, & filming work like shows, movies, and music videos like this one. It’s not sacred grounds or anything of those sorts ☺️
