Haven't watched this drama, but Mallikajaan sold Fareedan as a 9yr old and took joy in the fact she was raped/abused. And brought it up over and over to humiliate her. And let's not forget all those she did the same to other young women. But somehow we supposed to sympathize with HER? She is Villain through and through
What about when Rihanna sold Malikajaan's newborn baby right after his birth without the mother's consent. Things were not right with Malikajaan as well.

And even then she took revenge by killing Rehana, which was fine. Though she did it only for her greed and ambition and not out of love for her baby.

As a creator I am Gul Muhammad Jafari age 61 years or 60 years four months say very cute scene I am surprised that when I started watching this movie I thought what will we watch but you sure I have completed this film in two days and Sanjila that this film is not a film is a masterpiece which has reflected the culture of our subcontinent, their emotions, their pride, their music, their civilization, it is such a precedent. If it is said that it is not possible, then it is the best film. It is the best film. Now we don't get a chance, otherwise there is an ocean of creativity in the chest.

Malikajaan was raped by the british officers...
Manisha's character, Mallikajaan, a tawaif/courtesan, was arrested by the British officers and raped in the police station. It's an emotional scene where MJ is showing her strength of character and survivors spirit, while everyone is blaming Fareedan (Sonakshi Sinha), a rival courtesan who tipped off the cops.
Except, Fareedan didn't really plan it. She wanted to take revenge on MJ because MJ killed her mother and stole her home (the brothel that MJ now rules), and sold Fareedan to some old guy when she was 9. Now that she is free, she is here for revenge. She teamed up with a British officer (a stupid decision for sure, but desperate times I guess) and told them to make MJ's life hell. And the British officer did it in the most Colonizer way possible.

I'm very glad that my Netflix subscription was got expired in Last month. This time Netflix has became the worst oot platform in India only Because of this promotre such a bullshit kind of webseries and movies like Heramandi and Animal. These both must be BANNED 🚫 right now as they highly influence people for what is Wrong(such a influence creates a physiological impact which ultimately can lead to crime rap and suicide are just a little part of it).
Dear Netflix team take this as a feedback of mine remove these two contents as soon as possible. Also start sharing and make contents like old which was Good and comfortable for the viewers. You had a good reputation in past so don't ruined it.
