- In today's Skyscraper video Chicago and Los Angeles two of the USA's largest cities go head to head to determine which one has the better skyline!

LA’s “skyline” is a joke. It’s more like a small cluster of buildings. Needs to be compared to Atlanta or Houston…it doesn’t stand a chance against Chicago.

Los Angeles is still having a higher population than Chicago
Yes but it is very spread out. Chicago is smaller in land area but has way more density and a much livelier central core
@@ivancor773that means nothing. San Francisco is more dense than Chicago and second most dense in America after NYC and a much more lively downtown core. Population of a city doesn’t matter it’s how it’s built.
@@californiamade5608yeah and cities In California are built like shit. They all feel like a large suburb with the exception of The Bay Area. Takes you 4 hours to get from Santa Monica to Anaheim. A city is supposed to be easily maneuverable without a car, that cannot be done in LA, San Diego, or Sacramento. North East cities, Chicago, and the bay are the only true cities in America.
Well, the title of the video should be who has the tallest skyline. I would say Los Angeles has the more beautiful skyline against the snowcapped mountains. Or maybe I should say more photographic.
BTW, Chicago should get at least one building deducted for having the name Trump on it.
You can barely see those mountains most of the time due to the awful smog. Chicago’s skyline is set along the shores of Lake Michigan. It’s just more beautiful in every way and has much more variety and height. I’m also ok with disqualifying the Trump building lol
@@ivancor773 the smog situation is a lot better today than in the past which means the mountains are visible on an almost daily basis now compared to when I was a kid in the 70s.

Stop this, the only other American city that has more buildings than Chicago is New York. Outside of that no other American city skyline is on Chicago’s level.
