I already have a mobile base but I really want to build something like this so I think I’ll make a warehouse buster (lots of chests for spuds baguettes and other stuff and a mini garage for little warehouse tanks that make raiding a lot better so thanks for the inspiration, amazing build
I've been design testing this with various suspension setups. I want to have a good idea of how to do things before making the portable base away from base- survival mode.
I made a similar mobile base, though taller and longer than yours and looks much worse cause i only wanted practicality lol. Runs on 4 max level controllers and can climb really steep roads.
Aww man... thought i was doing it wrong. Turns out its not possible with engines. I have long resorted to controller powered mobile base tho. I have 4 giant wheels. Each made with 4 giant quarter-circle looking warehouse parts
This is awesome dude! A lot of creativity here, hope I can make one like this. Wish there was a timelapse or something on this. Also the people that think you meant mobile as in mobile game are just fucking idiots, ignore them Lol
I used the size of the Resource Collectors beside one another as the main reference then checked out IRL mobile homes for further proportions. Turned out a lot better than I thought it would.
Not much has changed, actually. I changed the front axle to improve steering and there's been one or two aesthetic changes. Once this big content update comes out I will be building it again because it is the perfect long-range vehicle so there might be improvements at that point.
@@slartibartfast420 If you could at least demonstrate the mechanics of the moving side part it would be immensely appreciated. I would love to replicate that idea but am confused by the procedure.
My real life job is an RV Technician and seeing something so similar and detailed to what I fix irl, in scrap mechanic, is really cool! Good job
This is incredible!!!! the only thing I can think of that would make this even better would be mounted spud guns and/or saws to fight bots.

I hope u make it to 200 subs keep the grind up my friend 😋😀👍👌👏

Maybe you can teach me how to make decent suspension. lol. My big girl doesn't turn so good.

Wow nice work
This is inspiring
For a second I thought he kept a tape not under the vehicle when I heard the tape craft bot sounds
Very cool RV good job brotha
Do you have a farming location that you go back to often?
Why is it that when I make a mobile base, it drains 20 oil in 5 seconds
This one does it too. Lol. We need larger engines that can handle heavier loads without draining tons of gas.

Frapple they are god and all but i dont really like them
You should make stops to refill that constantly make fuel. If that’s possible.
very late comment but i have to say using pistons to make the side come out is absolutlety ginuis instead of having to hollow out the build
how did you build the steering my mobile base steering flops all over uncontrollable
That is just a scrap mechanic problem. It happens when there is severe lag
Oh, it still flops all over the place. I've since improved on the steering but she still slides around and doesn't reverse very well.
Very impressive!
can anyone please tell me roughly the fuel consumption on that rv?

ooo, nice work. this is cool
Awesome. You don’t mind if i use the front container idea for myself do you?
Not a problem at all. In fact, I got the idea from another build I saw on Reddit.
Man, thats awasome. How did you build this?
I used the size of the Resource Collectors beside one another as the main reference then checked out IRL mobile homes for further proportions. Turned out a lot better than I thought it would.
Please post an update!!

The one problem thing id the farm cause you need to make defense to just do a farm or not
Im going to make a mobile base like this
Can we get a tutorial please?
You have a movable base cool
Can you make a toturial for us
That is sooo coool :)
tight
i love this rv
very organize
Bravo !
Man i just hate this lvl 5 engine sound it's so frustrating
Why is it frustrating? It sounds fine to me.
@@chasetoyama8184 does not match a truck or a car more off road, lvl3 engine has a much better sound in my opinion
@@joaoferreira-dq7mp eh, I agree, but lvl 4 is my favorite. The only reason I upgrade my engines to lvl 5 is the connections and the power adjustment.
i kinda miss 0.3.5
Plz tutorial
I might do one but for now the link to the workshop item is in the description.
