He has charts he gives the musicians & they are so good & play as if they’ve played the songs 1000 times. The mix on the recording on video isn’t what it sounds live. It never does. So much talent it’s amazing!!!!👏👏👏👏 Note. Mr. Cross had Covid & suffered paralysis & took almost a year to get back at it.

The pride of my hometown of San Antonio, Texas. I met him a couple of times and I got his attention when I mentioned the old Teen Canteen on Bitters Road across from Northeast Stadium. He played there and so did I. We had the same agent, Sam Kinsey. He is just a fantastic singer/guitarest and writer. The perfect musicial trifecta!!
I saw Christopher Cross in concert in the 1980's he had a little more gusto in his voice back in those days. I have followed Cross closely over the years. His last 80's voice sounding album was Rendezvous. Window was a middle transition album as far as his voice goes. Been there done that was the best showing on that album. Walking in Avalon was the cemented Album of how he sounded going into the 21'st century. There is an exception the cafe carlyle sessions album was a one off. Cross must have been having a really good day voice wise. It's the best vocal outing he has had in recent years. Don't get me wrong Christopher Cross still sounds really good and I have seen him in concerts numerous times over the years. Cross hasn't been quite as lucky as El DeBarge as far as retaining the overall wetness of his voice. But nonetheless it still sounds really good considering all he has been through.

I waited and waited for his beautiful guitar solo on Never Be The Same… and nothing but a mediocre sax solo. And his voice in this show seems like there’s nothing there. Still I like him a lot.
Always sad to see these masters trying to be young again.I love CC, but he is a shadow of his former self. I experienced the same thing when I went to see Eddie Money, 20+ years ago

Sailing is the first song I remember hearing as a kid after I woke up after my surgery at the hospital. I was 5 years old.
Always loved his music. But, he doesn’t seem happy to be onstage or putting much effort into singing.

I love these songs but either he can’t sing anymore or he just doesn’t care anymore. The music is great and his guitar playing as well.
He was very sick with Covid then guillain barre. At one point he was paralyzed. I’d say an amazing recovery.
