This video was wonderful; a really nostalgic experience for me. I first came to Siena in 1996 to participate in a 5-week music festival where I immediately fell in love with Italy. I returned in 1998, and in 1999, came back and decided to stay as long as I could before the Italy joined the EU. I am SO happy I did this. During the 9 months I was there I saw the character change from touristy and Palio crazy to quiet and everyday normal. I was thrilled to see that you dined at Osteria Nonna Gina's - my favorite place. I always enjoyed the Gnocchi Lella with a green salad and a small glass of grappa to end my meal. Heavenly!! I hope that this fine video inspires many more people to explore Siena and all of Italy. Ciao Bella!
