Sir, I have Minifuse 1 Conneted to Rode NT1 signature series (Condenser Microphone) . When I Record vocal in fl studio as you mentioned at 2:37 a hissing background noise with very less vocal sound get to me even after enabling that 48V extra power Where is the problem? Is this because of condenser microphone or something else? Plzz reply sirr. This problem is torturing me mentally, I couldn't start my project due to this...
@@markwiemels Thanks. It's just that iD4 boasts that console preamp while minifuse doesn't have any such backing. So the tradeoff is that 5-10% better quality vs extra inputs and midi. Thanks again.
Very good explanation of converters. I the preamp alone doesn't matter if u have a shitty a/d converter it's the combination of both that produce high quality sound. Nobody say that in reviews. I believe u are more educated in this era
Questions for Arturia MiniFuse1: 1. Where does the power source will came from? 2. I thought audio interface needs external power source so 48 V can be achieved? 3. Will it get the power from the computer? If yes, will it not damage the laptop?
Thankyou, I think this video might have sold me on getting the minifuse 1, wanted to ask what post processing/editing process you typically do? (Do you apply a compressor, boost, any eq settings?) Replacing my evo 4 after having a series of issues with it and looking to streamline and refine my recording/editing process.
Very very nice and interesting video! Now, I'm not a audio interface connoisseur at all. But simply for pure DAW electronic music creation (Ableton Live) without any recording in, just the use of software instruments & effects within Live, would you consider this audio interface good in term of audio output quality (with some high quality studio monitors that I already have)?
@@matan2903 Ah yes, good call. Yes I did go with the Arturia Minifuse and I am more than satisfied. Super solid little box and it does a stellar job. Couldn't recommend more for this type of usage. If yours are like mine, don't worry you'll be happy :)
Have you found any sort of adapters that will let you use the boya or Rhode mini with an audio interface? I tried on my Roland interface but zero sound. I realize that's not what those mics were made for but it would be an added bonus.
I actually used to use my movo vxr10 pro when I first started and the solution I found that eventually worked was using the Deity D-XLR to adapt it to XLR. You had to use phantom power but it worked with a clean signal.
Better buy inifuse 2 if you're using 32Ohm headphones, otherwise the output volume will be WAY TOO LOUD. In Minifuse 2 you can at least compensate for that with Mix knob.
In Europe The ID4 is 130/140 euro, not 250. And at that point the considerations to be made are a bit different, especially if you record guitars or basses on jfet
Hey there! I just bought myself a dynamic XLR mic and now looking at XLR interfaces.. Originally I wanted to go with a Behringer UMC22 or MAYBE a UMC202HD. Would you recommend any of those or should I just shell out an extra 50$ and get the Arturia Minifuse 1? Thanks
As you want to use a dynamic mic, go for an interface with the least amount of preamp noise. Of course, keep your budget in mind. Google the specs of some of the budget leaders and choose one. Let us know how it goes..
@@bigheartsmolpen Went with the Minifuse 1 from Arturia. Its very good, i just had issue with drivers on Win 11, and theres a slight high pitch noise (like coil whine or something) the closer I get the mic to my PC, so I'll have to either try another cable or move my PC from my desk lmao (having the mic further away from the PC fixes it, I get perfect clean audio)
im new to audio stuff like this so im just wondering if this will power a 250 ohm beyerdynamic 770 pro or should i go 80 ohm and will it power the shure mv7
It will have no problem with the mv7, check out the Julian Krause review for the headphone amp information, I’m sure he covered this, it’s might struggle with the 250, but not sure, I like 80 as a safe all around choice for most amps.
The sound would be OK, the only issue is too audible plosives and that spoils sound of any mic and interface. Also, I see too many people with expensive SM7B with popping plosives. Either a proper pop-filter is needed or better positioning of the mic. It must be well aside (and you should not turn your head toward it) or slightly above the mouth (and that is not so nice in a video).
Nice explanation of the analog to digital converter and pre-amp process. I think that was super helpful
Thanks! I have tried to make simplified explanations a key part of the videos, doesn't always come off, but thanks for noticing.
Arturia MiniFuse1 or Presonus Audio Go??
I know this is old. Just I've been using this for about a week and this thing is absolutely awesome love everything. About it!
I like the Arturia Products a lot, think the price performance is realy nice!
amazing review
Thanks!
Thanks. 5:03 isn't an instrument input an instrument-level signal instead of line-level, which I believe is higher?

Really torn between Audient iD4 mk2 and Arturia Minifuse 2, instrument use only. They go for the same price in my local stores. Your thoughts?
Both are good, but the minifuse gives you two instruments in, instead of one, plus midi in and out, seems way more versatile for instrument only.
@@markwiemels Thanks. It's just that iD4 boasts that console preamp while minifuse doesn't have any such backing. So the tradeoff is that 5-10% better quality vs extra inputs and midi. Thanks again.
In real world use you will be very hard pressed to tell the difference.
I'm actually going through that same confusion right now. Which one did you go for & how is it holding up after 8 months of usage?

Is this more reliable compared to the M-Audio solo? Solo lasts about 10 mins with phantom power...

1. The PC/Laptop, over the usb.
2. No, not until you have more than 4 inputs/4 outputs I think.
3. No, it won't damage your laptop.
I bought a mini fuse 2 and this vdo gave me confidence to use it. 😂 but I would like to know what are you using for the recording the vdo.
is audio technica athm30x and m40x good headphones for this?

In this video I did nothing, but normally I apply EQ and compressor, in that order, I have a preset for each microphone.

Exactly the reason I am looking on getting an audio interface. Did you go with this one or something else? And how is it?

I love the Arturia Minifuse 1 the onmy thing I have to work on is finding the right gain to use woth my microphone since I'm new to it
It's just trial and error, you will get there.
is it still working ? mine died after 2 months
Mini fuse 1 can loopback audio in obs?
does this interface require a driver for working with a windows PC? does it support usb class compliant?
do these audio interface have a difference in output audio quality difference if ur running a speaker via the TRS port?

Yes, the Audio interface uses a 1/4 inch TS plug, not TRS or TRRS. I assume you could adapt this with a TS to TRS adapter? But I have not tried it.

Hi , for listening music with monitors focal evo 65 wich is recommended?
for example, can I plug and usb mass storage device in the usb port of the arturia minifuse?
Yes, but not sure what the speed of that port will be.
ARTURIA vs VOLT ??
Haven't used the Volt, so can't really help with that one.

can Minifuse 1 beat the Audient ID4 with driving a high impedance headphones??
Not sure, check Julian Krause's channel, he has info on this.
wich would you recommend for mixing, mastering eletronic music. Arturia Minifuse os Presonus Studio 24c? Thank you!

Does the usb port accept USB mic?
It should, depends on the level of power required.
great honest review dear..😊

In terms of convertors audient is better,in terms of transparent sound i like Arturia. :D
Tell me this card will work with intel i3?

Yes, plosives is a problem. The Podmic doesn't perform well being that far away to the side, the PD-70 does, and can be used that way.
👏👏👏
I could not perceive any difference that mattered to my consumer level ears 🤷♂ Minifuse it is
Good choice.
