Masayang nakakakita ng mga taong nailalabas ang galing at abilidad sa motor pero nakakalungkot at the same time na sa public road sila nagkakarera. Sa mga katulad kong WALA pang motor ngayon or walang balak magkamotor, pwede natin suportahan yung ganitong layunin. Di natin kelangan awayin yung mga ganitong tao. Pwede natin silang hikayatin na sa track o sa tamang lugar sila mag race. Passion nila or pangpagaan nila ng loob yung motor. Happy ang lahat kung ganito :) P.s kung may nasabi akong mali o di karapatdapat. Patawad :) kulang ako sa karanasan at sa idea sa road at pag momotor, pero syempre nagagandahan din ako sa motor at suporta rin ako sa mga riders natin. Sa japan to prevent street drifting they installed a divider in the middle of the road and speed bumps. There are certain type of speedbumps where di siya sobrang laki or di mo need mag slow ng sobrang bagal just enough where you can pass it at a certain speed na hindi ka maaaksidente. For me personally the speed radar one is not advisable for our roads, other than we have ridiculously low speed limits, madami din motor na walang plaka/mv file no. Na nakalagay sa motor nila. Best suggestion is yunh race track near the city. Personally I never been to marilaque or any similar roads cause of fear na madamay sa ganyang accidents. Ultimo nakatambay sa gilid nadadamay eh. I really like this topic. Gusto ko din maexperience yung roads na ganyan. 😂
This is one of the many ideas na pwede magawa ng gobyerno. Hindi lang sana sa motorsports nila tayo tulungan madami pang ibang sports na di nila napapansin pero sobrang talentado ng mga pinoy. Sana gumising na ang gobyerno sa pag kakatulog.
Kaya nga po. Tutal imbes na magpa-gawa ng maraming basketball courts sa bansa e ibang larangan naman magfocus kasi nasasayangan ang potential ng mga kamote riders na maging competitive talaga not only locally but internationally.

That is actually a good idea sir. To open race tracks easy access not just for big displacement bikes but also lower displacements for motorcycle enthusiast. They should have lower fees for entrance and use of race track. That would also give us a chance to discover skilled riders that can compete in international level. Hope our government would look into this.
I like the 2 suggestions zach. 1. Govt make a race track in metro. Kahit mura lng kasi sa sobrang dami ng gusto maka experience ng race track di malulugi ang race track. 2. Speed tracker with photo. Yung mga enforcer na hindi tlga knowledgeable sa batas mababawasan. Then iwas traffice. Kasi to be honest most of the time when there's a TRAFFIC ENFORCER, kasunod na agad ang TRAFFIC. Mas maluwag pa pag walang traffic enforcers eh. Just being honest here. It's like, Traffic enforcers, enforces/causes traffice more
And dapat nakalink ang credit card/debit card/ATM ng may-ari ng sasakyan sa database ng gov't regulatory kasi kada violation automatic na babawasan nila ang balance mo (pero syempre subject for bank approval iyon via letter of request) para iwas abala ka, yung bulsa mo lang ang mapeperwisyo nang matindi hahaha

Even sa US and euro negative too much of data privacy na yon.

As a government official and a rider, I completely agree with government-funded race tracks and have delved into it. It's a lot difficult than I thought since it involves multiple agencies and governments. Still looking for a way to get this to fruition tho. Awesome content as always.

The government, in essence, is mandated to create, pass, and implement laws/ordinances and/or projects for the benefit of the constituents (Welfare clause of RA 7160 for local government). The proposal here is to CREATE a SAFE space for the thrill-seekers to go all out while minimizing these same behaviors on public and shared roads. TAXPAYERS will allow the government to fund the safety of public road users by keeping the racing-oriented riders to use a track for their specific needs/wants. If the project (in this case, a race track) isn't what the people wanted (or it did not perform based on how it's designed to perform) then, it can be either amended or abolished through the judiciary or legislative system.
I, 101% agree with your suggestion Sir Zach. Sometimes I'm planning to ride sa Marilaque just to enjoy the view and the twisties kaya lang hindi lang dalawang isip ang nangyayari, minsan naging tatlo or apat pa hehehe, dahil sa mga pasaway na rider dyan. Hopefully mabigyan ng solusyon ang problema na yan in the near future.

Nakakatuwa na mapanuod ko tong video na to, knowing na I'm on my thesis year ngayon sa architecture and my thesis proposal is Motorsport facility. Major highway ang Marilaque, kaya nga sya tinawag na Marilaque because it connects Marikina, Laguna, Rizal and Quezon. kung t tadtarin mo ng speedbumps kada kanto. kamusta kaya ang delivery ng bawat goods na everyday need mo?, so what is better option sa mga goods? gagamit sila ng expressway, patong presyo nanaman yon sa mga bilihin. also emergency responses, mad delay sila ng sobra. and also, saan ka nakakita ng highway na may speedbump?. best suggestion is create more racetracks for this "talented" riders to show their skills. Kaya diciplined ang mga Rider sa ibang bansa dahil meron silang wide range access in different kinds of Racetracks, tulad din ng ginawa ng gobyerno ng Thailand, They supported drag racing and created drag strips for everyone.
Good idea lang naman siya. It's not ideal kasi may pataas at may pababang curved. Putting new technologies could make a good discipline and revenue not to mention the safety both the riders at mga tao in general kasi daan dn ng mga masasamang loob diyan.
For the racetrack thing tho, if the government cannot fund it (due to their own personal reasons 🤷♂️), why can't we use this platform to urge the motorcycle companies to build their own tracks which they could name as their own? It's a win-win situation since (1) it would address the concern stated in this video, and (2) it is an avenue for promotion on a specific motor brand. In addition to the promotions, motor brands can use this location for launching their new products, as well as, a location for their own race events. Sharing my 2 cents here. 😁
May mga existing racetracks na tayo dito, ang dilemmas lang is: 1.) Kakaunti lang ang racetracks dito sa Pinas na malapit sa siyudad, and 2.) Mostly inaccessible for individual racers dahil sobrang mahal ng entrance/venue fee, and need pa ng sponsorship ng isang org para makalaro kayo doon.
This Idea of race track that is accessible to anyone is a VERY GOOD IDEA, tama ee, kasi di na makocontrol yang mga KAMOTE, so kung gusto natin na ilayo sila sa public roads, the government needs to create a separate road or race track for them.. di na kasi talaga matuturuan maging disiplinado yang mga kamote na yan. Good and timely topic. As user of Marilaque and favorite place to enjoy the Mountain View landscape Humps are not suitable for main roadways or highways, however, rumble strip could be considered to enhance safety para sa mga kamote riders. One of the solutions I would think is the strict implementations of traffic rules with daily HPG and imposing penalties.

Tama po kayo regarding sa humps or pwede rin yung parang maliliit na humps na kapag na nadaan mo eh matagtag, magiging deterrent sya sa mga mahilig mag banking or gawing racing, yun nga lang kawawa naman yung ibang motorista, naka 4 wheels, truck, matitinong riders yung hindi nagraracing or nagbabanking na dadaan at puro humps yung bawat curve. Dito sa amin sa sub may ilang beses na may nabubunggo na tricycle, motor, kotse sa parang maliit na intersection at may blind spot pa na harang kaya hindi talaga makita kung may tatawid, kaya ginawa ng sub nilagyan ng humps sa intersection, simula nun wala ng naaksidente dun spot na yun.

I agree 100% on your views and suggestions Sir Zach. I am for the building of race tracks not just in Metro Manila. It is great to have venues for racers and spectators alike for some good raw track racing. In my opinion, the onus is on the police and traffic law enforcement. Accidents in Marilaque are really an everyday occurrence and therefore an immediate and pressing concerns/issue. Evidently, asking those riders for some common sense is not working. Like a parent to an undisciplined child, if our traffic officers will just simply up their law enforcement on the area, good things will start to happen: 1. lesser accidents, safer travel for everyone 2. discipline will be instilled (I'm being wishful here) 3. revenue-generation from traffic violation fines (not the reason for enforcement but hey! a good enough reason for motivation). Speed bumps, speed cameras and especially race track are good solutions but need time, budget and a whole lot of bureaucracy. Deploying Traffic enforcers are, I think, the more immediate response to curb the problem. Let's just hope the government will act on immediate and long-term solution to this problem. Salamat sir. Hindi na talaga effective i suppress ang mga kamote sa marilaque. Na-liwanagan ako na may mga urges din talaga pala nga ang mga tao. urge to ride fast and hard. Nagkataon lang talaga na ang Marilaque ang nakaka quench ng thirst or urge na yon. Napaka gandang idea na supportahan ang mga riders, para may "cathartic" release sila. I have never been to Mariliaque for the reason na, ayoko ma brand as "kamote" and ayoko makakita ng grupo ng kamote na nagkakalat at binabastos ung safety ng ibang riders. but then again, pag dating sa ganyang gastos i don't have enough faith sa mga politicians that they would support such a thing. maganda yung pagkakabangit mo sir, "I challenge the government". most of the time kasi sir sa totoo lang, i feel na walang pakialam yan sa mga small displacement riders. then again, i could be wrong. sa lahat ng makakabasa ng comment na to. Please ride safe para sainyo and para sa pamilya ng kasama niyo sa daan.

But here is the problem naman po, mahihirapan naman yung mga camera mapicturan yung mga plaka ng motor kasi sometimes hindi nakakabit ng maayos or etc. dun sana pumasok ang doble plaka para mas mareinforce yung speed limit. Dapat din po magkaron din ng coordination ang local and LGU, para kahit saan ka mahuli walang issue sa pag retrieve ng lisensya. Then ibaba din kasi ung susundan mo na law. Iba sa MMDA, LTO, City government. So dapat ayusin nila yan. Then baguhin din nila ung mga questionaire sa LTO.
Suggestion lang din Sir Zach, make your license have an online profile or account, para alam mo in real time or upon apprehension na me violation ka. Di kung kailan magpaparenew ka lang magugulat na me ganun kang violation for cases na contactless apprehensions. Also lagyan mo ng points na dindeduct pag nagkakaroon ka ng violations para maging basis ng good or bad driving or riding abilities. Dito pwedeng malaman kung di ka dapat irenew dahil kamote ka sa daan. Kahit bayaran mo violations mo yung points mo di kasali, parang driver/rider rating mo na yan na dapat mong imaintain o ingatan.

I agree sir. Kahit anong safe mong magmaneho at gusto mo ienjoy ang kalsada at view, kapag may kamote, worried ka pa rin madisgrasya dahil sa mga yan. Siguro sir ok din po na mag invest sa Speed camera detectors(no contact apprehension) na may mataas na penalty pra sa mga violators…gaya ng pagrevoke ng lisensya pag umabot sa max limit ng violation ang rider..lalo sa mga certain area na prone sa disgrasya dhil sa overspeeding…baka sakali mag work..😉 Para sa lahat bg sasakyan n po yan..👍
Sa Ilang beses na balik ko diyan, always may askidente hindi ko kasi maintindihan bakit ginagawang racetrack yan ang sarap ng hangin, food at ganda nang view diyan. Sir Zack dun sa suggestion #2: Ang nakikita kong challenge dun is madaming 2nd hand motorcycle owners na naka open DOS, hindi nakapangalan sa kanila yung motor na ginagamit nila. Di po kaya maging hassle yun dun sa original owner since sa kanya pa nakapangalan yung motor?

We do have smaller displacement bikes on track.

I like the 2 suggestions zach.
1. Govt make a race track in metro. Kahit mura lng kasi sa sobrang dami ng gusto maka experience ng race track di malulugi ang race track.
2. Speed tracker with photo. Yung mga enforcer na hindi tlga knowledgeable sa batas mababawasan. Then iwas traffice. Kasi to be honest most of the time when there's a TRAFFIC ENFORCER, kasunod na agad ang TRAFFIC. Mas maluwag pa pag walang traffic enforcers eh. Just being honest here.
It's like, Traffic enforcers, enforces/causes traffice more
And dapat nakalink ang credit card/debit card/ATM ng may-ari ng sasakyan sa database ng gov't regulatory kasi kada violation automatic na babawasan nila ang balance mo (pero syempre subject for bank approval iyon via letter of request) para iwas abala ka, yung bulsa mo lang ang mapeperwisyo nang matindi hahaha

Yung idea na i link yung card negative yan. Even sa US and euro negative too much of data privacy na yon.
Antipolo city should take advantage of the motoring culture in Marilaque and make it the motoring hub of the country.

As a government official and a rider, I completely agree with government-funded race tracks and have delved into it. It's a lot difficult than I thought since it involves multiple agencies and governments. Still looking for a way to get this to fruition tho. Awesome content as always.

The government, in essence, is mandated to create, pass, and implement laws/ordinances and/or projects for the benefit of the constituents (Welfare clause of RA 7160 for local government). The proposal here is to CREATE a SAFE space for the thrill-seekers to go all out while minimizing these same behaviors on public and shared roads.
TAXPAYERS will allow the government to fund the safety of public road users by keeping the racing-oriented riders to use a track for their specific needs/wants.
If the project (in this case, a race track) isn't what the people wanted (or it did not perform based on how it's designed to perform) then, it can be either amended or abolished through the judiciary or legislative system.

Sometimes I'm planning to ride sa Marilaque just to enjoy the view and the twisties kaya lang hindi lang dalawang isip ang nangyayari, minsan naging tatlo or apat pa hehehe, dahil sa mga pasaway na rider dyan. Hopefully mabigyan ng solusyon ang problema na yan in the near future.

Major highway ang Marilaque, kaya nga sya tinawag na Marilaque because it connects Marikina, Laguna, Rizal and Quezon. kung t tadtarin mo ng speedbumps kada kanto. kamusta kaya ang delivery ng bawat goods na everyday need mo?, so what is better option sa mga goods? gagamit sila ng expressway, patong presyo nanaman yon sa mga bilihin. also emergency responses, mad delay sila ng sobra. and also, saan ka nakakita ng highway na may speedbump?. best suggestion is create more racetracks for this "talented" riders to show their skills. Kaya diciplined ang mga Rider sa ibang bansa dahil meron silang wide range access in different kinds of Racetracks, tulad din ng ginawa ng gobyerno ng Thailand, They supported drag racing and created drag strips for everyone.

Good idea lang naman siya. It's not ideal kasi may pataas at may pababang curved. Putting new technologies could make a good discipline and revenue not to mention the safety both the riders at mga tao in general kasi daan dn ng mga masasamang loob diyan.

For the racetrack thing tho, if the government cannot fund it (due to their own personal reasons 🤷♂️), why can't we use this platform to urge the motorcycle companies to build their own tracks which they could name as their own? It's a win-win situation since (1) it would address the concern stated in this video, and (2) it is an avenue for promotion on a specific motor brand. In addition to the promotions, motor brands can use this location for launching their new products, as well as, a location for their own race events. Sharing my 2 cents here. 😁
May mga existing racetracks na tayo dito, ang dilemmas lang is: 1.) Kakaunti lang ang racetracks dito sa Pinas na malapit sa siyudad, and 2.) Mostly inaccessible for individual racers dahil sobrang mahal ng entrance/venue fee, and need pa ng sponsorship ng isang org para makalaro kayo doon.

Good and timely topic. As user of Marilaque and favorite place to enjoy the Mountain View landscape Humps are not suitable for main roadways or highways, however, rumble strip could be considered to enhance safety para sa mga kamote riders. One of the solutions I would think is the strict implementations of traffic rules with daily HPG and imposing penalties.

Tama po kayo regarding sa humps or pwede rin yung parang maliliit na humps na kapag na nadaan mo eh matagtag, magiging deterrent sya sa mga mahilig mag banking or gawing racing, yun nga lang kawawa naman yung ibang motorista, naka 4 wheels, truck, matitinong riders yung hindi nagraracing or nagbabanking na dadaan at puro humps yung bawat curve. Dito sa amin sa sub may ilang beses na may nabubunggo na tricycle, motor, kotse sa parang maliit na intersection at may blind spot pa na harang kaya hindi talaga makita kung may tatawid, kaya ginawa ng sub nilagyan ng humps sa intersection, simula nun wala ng naaksidente dun spot na yun.

Goods yung public toll racetrack Sir Zach kagaya sa Nürburgring, Germany~ May bayad para maka-ikot ka ng 1 lap sa buong racetrack. Tapos may designated day kung kelan pwede mga underbone or motorcycles na 400cc below.
I agree 100% on your views and suggestions Sir Zach. I am for the building of race tracks not just in Metro Manila. It is great to have venues for racers and spectators alike for some good raw track racing.
In my opinion, the onus is on the police and traffic law enforcement. Accidents in Marilaque are really an everyday occurrence and therefore an immediate and pressing concerns/issue. Evidently, asking those riders for some common sense is not working. Like a parent to an undisciplined child, if our traffic officers will just simply up their law enforcement on the area, good things will start to happen:
1. lesser accidents, safer travel for everyone
2. discipline will be instilled (I'm being wishful here)
3. revenue-generation from traffic violation fines (not the reason for enforcement but hey! a good enough reason for motivation).
Speed bumps, speed cameras and especially race track are good solutions but need time, budget and a whole lot of bureaucracy. Deploying Traffic enforcers are, I think, the more immediate response to curb the problem. Let's just hope the government will act on immediate and long-term solution to this problem.

Salamat sir. Hindi na talaga effective i suppress ang mga kamote sa marilaque. Na-liwanagan ako na may mga urges din talaga pala nga ang mga tao. urge to ride fast and hard. Nagkataon lang talaga na ang Marilaque ang nakaka quench ng thirst or urge na yon. Napaka gandang idea na supportahan ang mga riders, para may "cathartic" release sila. I have never been to Mariliaque for the reason na, ayoko ma brand as "kamote" and ayoko makakita ng grupo ng kamote na nagkakalat at binabastos ung safety ng ibang riders. but then again, pag dating sa ganyang gastos i don't have enough faith sa mga politicians that they would support such a thing. maganda yung pagkakabangit mo sir, "I challenge the government". most of the time kasi sir sa totoo lang, i feel na walang pakialam yan sa mga small displacement riders. then again, i could be wrong. sa lahat ng makakabasa ng comment na to. Please ride safe para sainyo and para sa pamilya ng kasama niyo sa daan.

Agree ako sir zac sa speed camera, tama ka d2 sa europe puro speed camera, mas mataas ka sa speed limit mas higher penalty. Pag di mo pa mabayaran after 15 days it will double, or you will be in court for a case.

Sir, magandang proposal yan sir, kc dto sa Dar Es Salaam, sobrang laki ng mga speed bumps, 1 meter pa nga ang lapad kapag tawirin. Pwede talaga Sir Zack.
Good suggestion regarding speed radars atleast yung fine mapupunta sa local government. But here is the problem naman po, mahihirapan naman yung mga camera mapicturan yung mga plaka ng motor kasi sometimes hindi nakakabit ng maayos or etc. dun sana pumasok ang doble plaka para mas mareinforce yung speed limit. Just my 2 cents, i really enjoyed the video sir zac.

Dapat din po magkaron din ng coordination ang local and LGU, para kahit saan ka mahuli walang issue sa pag retrieve ng lisensya. Then ibaba din kasi ung susundan mo na law. Iba sa MMDA, LTO, City government. So dapat ayusin nila yan. Then baguhin din nila ung mga questionaire sa LTO.
Para skin ang dapat ilagay bago mag curve corner both ways eh yun kagaya ng check point barriers...
Sir suggest ko lagyan ng cam bawat corner ng marilaque at may speed limit 40-60kph lang pag lagpas sa limit eh marerecord agad ang penalty
Suggestion lang din Sir Zach, make your license have an online profile or account, para alam mo in real time or upon apprehension na me violation ka. Di kung kailan magpaparenew ka lang magugulat na me ganun kang violation for cases na contactless apprehensions. Also lagyan mo ng points na dindeduct pag nagkakaroon ka ng violations para maging basis ng good or bad driving or riding abilities. Dito pwedeng malaman kung di ka dapat irenew dahil kamote ka sa daan. Kahit bayaran mo violations mo yung points mo di kasali, parang driver/rider rating mo na yan na dapat mong imaintain o ingatan.

I agree sir. Kahit anong safe mong magmaneho at gusto mo ienjoy ang kalsada at view, kapag may kamote, worried ka pa rin madisgrasya dahil sa mga yan. (Sana) eyeopener ito sa mga mainit sa silinyador. kung di sila nagwoworry sa sarili nila or sa family nila, magworry naman sana sila sa madidisgrsya nila at sa family ng iba na pwede nilang madisgrasya.

Ganda sana yung race track na accessible pero isa sa nakita kong problema ay baka ma dominate to ng mga rider na seryoso sa racing at di na mabiyan ng chance yung mga rider na gusto lang mag practice/sumubok ng agressive riding.
Siguro sir ok din po na mag invest sa Speed camera detectors(no contact apprehension) na may mataas na penalty pra sa mga violators…gaya ng pagrevoke ng lisensya pag umabot sa max limit ng violation ang rider..lalo sa mga certain area na prone sa disgrasya dhil sa overspeeding…baka sakali mag work..😉

Sa Ilang beses na balik ko diyan, always may askidente hindi ko kasi maintindihan bakit ginagawang racetrack yan ang sarap ng hangin, food at ganda nang view diyan. Sir Zack dun sa suggestion #2: Ang nakikita kong challenge dun is madaming 2nd hand motorcycle owners na naka open DOS, hindi nakapangalan sa kanila yung motor na ginagamit nila. Di po kaya maging hassle yun dun sa original owner since sa kanya pa nakapangalan yung motor?
