Brickhouse Brown On Allegations Against Pat Patterson & The Deeper Rabbit Hole That Goes Beyond Him!

  • The late great former world champion Brickhouse Brown spoke on why he didn't make it within the WWE during his first initial run and scheduled major push with the promotion which was behind an alleged sexual harassment encounter with Pat Patterson whose name has been involved with all kinds of sexual harassment allegations within the WWE for decades now. Brickhouse Brown also goes further into a far more sinister issue involving sexual harassment within the professional wrestling industry and how the rabbit hole goes entirely deeper than you can possibly image.

    • @russblack443
      @russblack443 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@thomasriddle2397 Jim Barnett was openly gay even in the 1950's. It wasn't ever a secret. He was the only reason that wrestling was on TV after the dumont network went off. He was the one that got wrestling the air in the twin cities, Detroit, Chicago, Indianapolis and everywhere. He was the one who taught Vern gagne,bill Watts, Dick the brusier, Fritz von Erich, Gary Hart and the sheik how to do TV. He has the contacts. The part about the apartment in Kentucky was very true,but the football team was doing just a little bit more than walking around in their underwear with jimzy and his gay friends from Hollywood like Rock Hudson, Anthony Perkins and Tony Curtis. They were paying those kids for sex and it was found out and that's the reason he sold Detroit and Indianapolis and went to Australia for 20 years. There is a book about it . As far as him having sex with wrestlers in return for a push or the Tommy Rich rumor there are plenty of wrestlers that said that was bullshit Gary Hart being the biggest one. He worked for with and around him for thirty years and said he never knew of Barnett ever hitting on a wrestler,and he was with his secretary Lonnie Winters for 40 + years. He said Barnett used to screw around on Lonnie on the asian tours in Singapore and Hong Kong but only with other gay men. Harley Race was asked if Tommy Rich did anything for Jim Barnett to get the title and Harley said yes he put asses in seats and letting Tommy have the belt was his idea and call not Barnett's. Watts, Fritz, and Vern all said that the rumors about him and the wrestlers was b.s. even the Welch and Fuller clan said it was b.s. and they are about as redneck as you can get. Plus if you know anything about Gary Hart and who he was, where he came from and how he grew up I tend to believe him. He was a pretty straight forward person and pretty much told things how they were. I think a lot of the stuff with Barnett was jealousy. People saying stuff like oh you know what Tommy did to get that push don't you probably fucked Barnett. The only wrestler that ever has accused Barnett of doing anything like that was that Jim Wilson clown who like thunderbolt Patterson thought he should have been NWA world champion. He was a football player from university of Georgia that played all of about two years for the Atlanta falcons. Ray Gunkel who was the booker and part owner gave him a Job because he was a known local football player and had drawing power. Promoters had been doing that since bronko nagurski and Gus Sonnenburg. Jim Wilson had one tour of Australia and was making 300 a week, Gary Hart was a manager,not a wrestler and was making 1200. Wilson had one 6 week tour and was sent home because he sucked in the ring. When Ray gunkel died him and thunderbolt Patterson thought Ray's wife was going to get his part of the office. Lester Welch and those guys closed down reincorporated and screwed her. Wilson went with her and ran opposition against the NWA. Eventually Barnett and his Australian crew came in to Georgia and put them out of business. I think Wilson was just hoping he could be gay with Barnett for a spot and was then but hurt when it didn't work,and really pissed when it was him and his crew that put his outlaw promotion out of business. Barnett has been dead for almost 20 years and nobody else has ever came out and accused him of anything. The only one was Wilson and the Tommy Rich rumor. I just don't see it with him. With the way everyone talks about Pat and Vince Sean Lord Alfred Hayes terry Garvin Mel Phillips and the rest of the cream team why would they still be covering for Barnett 20 years after his death.
