I'm laughing about the "medium-low gain" tone of the right channel rhythm guitarist, that only sounds heavy when he's strumming full chords hard, However that all adds to the uniqueness of each performance, and they absolutely killed this... such a joy to see them rockin' out!
It happens to the best of them, especially with self taught singers. 9/10 they tend to use improper technique for stylistic purposes, At least he's been able to retain his tonal quality despite that, not to mention his touring record.

From last I heard daughtry and the bassist josh were still in the band and the guitarist playing the guitar that I think is an ibanez left shortly after this song came out, the drummer left after leave this town I believe. And I'm not sure about the other guitarist.
