I had that first Phantom with a GoPro 4 and all that telemetry and video transmission stuff strapped on the bottom... thank you UAVDirect (wish they were still around) for getting me so addicted!! You had to start the GoPro taking photos/video and hope for the best! P.S., I still have my Phantom 1 and Phantom 2 if anyone wants to make an offer (kidding!)... and your neighbor has my Phantom 3 Pro
@@readysetdrone let's say I don't care about the picture and video functionality and just wanted to get into a dji drone for cheap, later on maybe getting a mini if I want pictures, so far I have an e511s eachine, and a starwars speeder drone so I'm not too concerned with pictures more just flying drones

It's very old, so probably not for a professional. There is no FPV feed, so you can't fly farther than you can see.

If you shoot in 60fps the footage will look more shaking. You do Know the osmo has 4k 30 fps right? That looks more stable

Is the drone worth getting in 2024? I bought one for 150 just needs new batteries wondering if its a deal or no
Depends on what you want to do. It’s a solid drone to learn to fly. Not the best for shooting video. At this point it’s almost 10 years old.

You needed to put the camera up a little bit because of the tilt on the Drone
Loved it..they have a single axel gimbal 50g or so but it's kinda new..n spendy..
The footage from that looks pretty good, without a gimbal
