Need to weedkiller and angle grind out all the joint , the jointing compound must be constantly wet while brushing it in , it doesn’t need to be compacted with a trowel

How have the joints held up? Didn’t look like you compacted the joints at all with a pointing trowel

Hi! It hasn't lasted well... But I think we didn't pack it down well enough. The weeds have found their way through again!
