What's the purpose of Scale in writing (composing) rap song? Is it just for vocal Melody?
BTW personally, I feel a rapper can do well even if he/she doesn't know music theory. Of course having theory in mind is always an edge. Am I wrong?
basic theory you should be knowing , Vocal melody needs proper scale to hit the right notes.
