Easily one of the best YMAS songs in years, this is sooo good. I'm really loving this sound and I can't wait to hear more. If this song is any indication, then Truth Decay is shaping up to be one hell of an album.
Am I the only one who's been on a Ymas loop since their Sinners anniversary.. Man I love you guys, you've had me hyped since you announced then you was bringing new music. Thank you for being such an amazing band
I honestly feel like this is a combination of all their sounds, the beginning has a SNS vibe, the chorus has a TOYC vibe, the bridge has a HMD vibe, the guitar solo TOYC vibe and the ending has a Suckapunch vibe! I’m so here for it!
This song is completed with a very high quality as rock music in the 2020s. When I first listened to YMAS in 2009, their various songs were cutting edge for me. And I'm 30 now. I am happy to have lived and grown up with their music!
so many people here saying they haven’t liked the last albums as much. let me just say, i love EVERY album this band puts out. each one has such a unique sound and vibe with melodies that get stuck in my head for days. and deep cuts is no different. i haven’t stopped playing it since it came out. i truly love this band with my whole heart. can’t wait for the album and to see y’all in the fall 💜
@@ZERO-X79 they have been my favorite since i discovered them in jr high in 08 and they always impress with every album. so underrated in America tbh. but they mean soooo much to me. i met josh before their show at the Door in Dallas TX in 2011 and ill never forget it. he was so nice to my sister and me.
The guitar, the voice, the lyrics, the rhythm... You me at six is unique. I mean.. Each of their song is different... But I like that... They're not so boring like other bands.. Thank you for everything... Keep going like that
@@tatsuya4887 I feel like the flow, tempo and vocal style, just feels more like the older songs from hold me down or sinners, it’s a positive change to the recent releases
I've loved this band for so long and I still love their music just as much as the first time I heard them. Every song is amazing and the way they've grown and perfected their craft and explored new sounds and tried new things. Everything works for them. So glad I've alive to experience bands like this.
this makes me so happy - they sound much more like the you me at six i know and love than their last three albums did. also i’m getting major sinners vibes from this and i love it!
so glad the old YMAS is back, Suckapunch and This album are such a welcomed redemption, this one even more than I'd hoped. VI was just awful to me and had me nervous. But my faith and trust has been rewarded. love love love it.
Reading all these comments wow I didn't realise so many people disliked there last albums Suckerpunch and 6 are some of there best imo and i've been a fan since Underdog and like Underdog this song is sick!!!
I'm in shit place of mind rn and YMAS , Shinedown and Motionless In White are the only things keeping me from going way more insane than I already am lol
This song is just everything I think every YMAS fan has been longing for. It's such a tune and got me in the best mood driving to work this morning! I can't wait to hear the rest of the record and hopefully get my hands on the Vinyl for my collection. Big love to you guys. YOU NEVER MISS x
You guys should make a DVD of your tour. Just your everyday goofy selves, before/after performances, what you do in your spare time, pranks, etc. Guarantee they would fly off the shelves!
Long time fan of YMAS since Take off your Colours! I havn't liked an album after Cavalier Youth. Wasn't a fan of their new direction but this album is back on for me!!! So glad they are returning to their previous sound more! Every song is gold on this album
You me at six have evolved a lot over the years but gradually and kept that you me at six sound, some bands just change completely and lose their sound and change for the latest trend. I’ve been listening and going to shows since almost day one and every song I’ve loved. Keep it up guys.
I just don’t understand this amazing band is underrated in Japan. I really hope they get bigger in Japan so I could see them live often in Japanese big venue….
Easily one of the best YMAS songs in years, this is sooo good. I'm really loving this sound and I can't wait to hear more. If this song is any indication, then Truth Decay is shaping up to be one hell of an album.
I heard Red hot chilli peppers - Can’t Stop at the opening for a second haha what an amazing song though, love this sound 🔥🔥
Exactly what I thought mate. It's fucking my OCD because it's not completing the "can't stop" riff 🤣
@@wemoveforward6413 I’ve listed to it about 6 times now and it still gets me 😂 you’ll have to listen to can’t stop to sort you out haha
@@OMGASUPERFISH1 🤣 yeah for sure. Really want to love the track but that riff mannn. Haha. fingers crossed for the rest of the album!
I thought exactly same
I know all the (justified) hate for the next reference, but I heard similitude with Lostprophets's "A Town called hypocrisy". Good brit rock, anyway.
3:05 gave me big Take Off Your Colours vibes. I haven't been a fan of the last couple of albums but this is more like it boys!
Haven’t cared much for the last couple of albums but I am absolutely loving this. It reminds me so much of the older stuff and I am here for it.
Omggg same
You didn't like the last album? Was the best since Sinners
@@cagedhercules5649 Agreed, Sinners and SUCKAPUNCH are my favourite two albums from them
YES SAME!
Doesn't matter what they do they kill it every time! ❤️

this is EXACTLY how yma6 should sound. major step up from the previous records in my opinion. glad they have brought back the pop punk aspects
This is really good. It sounds like a modern interpretation of the old YMA6, but done in a very proper and respectable way. This is very good!
I honestly feel like this is a combination of all their sounds, the beginning has a SNS vibe, the chorus has a TOYC vibe, the bridge has a HMD vibe, the guitar solo TOYC vibe and the ending has a Suckapunch vibe! I’m so here for it!

All former emos united, listening to this new YMAS masterpiece. What a time to be alive!

Suckerpucnch ain't even that for from there roots. Glasgow for example
The last album is one of my favourite albums ever. Might be due to alot of the songs resonating with a depressed state I was in at the time etc.
@@wemoveforward6413 Their last album is great for me and yeah YMAS are still killing it!

You’re dick riding crazy
If the new album is half as good as this song I’ll be buzzing. Banger already 🎸

This is much better than the last album/songs. Sounds like the YMA6 I knew in 2010
Idk man I'm not getting 2010 vibes
Back to the roots I missed them so bad

Last few albums have been trash. This is sounding a lot better but nothing like what they were.
Ahhh my boys, I missed them so much! This song has the vibes of Sinners Never Sleep and Cavalier Youth, I love it!
Hold Me Down album was the best! bring it back baby love the sound of that album so much!
So lyrically, vocally and instrumentally talented. You guys just make sense as a band. Please don't ever stop making music 🙏❤️

Amazing! Started playing it in the middle of a restaurant because I couldn't wait until I got home. NO REGRETS. What a bop 🤘🔥🖤

love the song!!! and olli appleyard has the best sense of aesthetics in the world
agree !! i didnt know he'd directed this video oh my god
Agree, I love the video so much, as much as the song itself, perfect combination
Back to the roots, this is fire 🔥
You Me At Six can't deliver a bad song even if they try, my favorite British band by far, Brazil is here enjoying another banger!
Deep cuts are made to hurt but they reveal strength and effort against pain. Spirituality is a deep wound, it hurts to follow, but makes us stronger.
This is an absolute banger, hope it gets a lot of radio and TV play!!

good song
I'm in Love with These Band for 11 years ❤️ and this Love will exist for ever. thank you for these great Moments.
Oh man this scratches an itch I didn't know I had

Big Bloc Party vibes with that opening riff
Wow best song in years
Finally You Me At Six I used to love!!!
GREAAAT TUNE GUYSSSS
LET'S BOOM!!!
this song scratches my brain just right man
I'm getting Sinners vibes and I'm living for it!
Love the song and the video! The sound is closer to "Take Off Your Colours" and I love that
That riff reminded me a lot of Lostprophets from Liberation Transmission era. I remember thinking Hold Me Down had that same vibe back in the day
Hopefully sounds more like the older stuff, found it hard getting into anything past night people
@@user-gi9lm1vl6u tricky but has aged like wine. Remember interviewing you guys when it first came out and it's still one of my favourites 🏆
I tapped out after Night People but this instantly makes me want to buy a ticket for their next concert
What a bop guys! I felt like I went back into my early 20’s in 2010 with this! 🤘🏻🔥
I legit saw this as an ad on IG an im in love with this song
You guys are back as well!?? OMG! just finished listening to ADTR's miraculous track and then this! 🤯

You me at six just can’t make a bad song ❤️
I have been following you guys for the past 11 years, love where you've gone...Great tune 🎶🎶🎶♥️
Intro super reminds me Helicoptor by Bloc Party / Can't Stop by RHCP. Love the track besides this.

Anyone else getting swarm vibes in that bridge riff!?!?
THEY'RE BAAAACK
Looks promising , can't wait for release 😍
Love it! Probably 2nd fav song by them behind Straight to my Head
Emo is back! Sounds like if SUCKAPUNCH and Sinners never sleep had a baby song. I loved!
My favorite song >>>>>
That intro giving Can't Stop vibes
send me back to YMA6 older albums, more like this 😍
This is a banger!
Straight get into top 2022 playlist
Nice one. Foos meet Bloc Party. Main guitar riff reminds me of the latter's "Helicopter"
Bloody awesome.and I liked their recent albums too...
I’ve watched the TikTok clip at least a hundred times already, so pumped to hear the full version! Can feel a new favourite coming on!
Damn i'm happy YMAS went back to what makes them special.
this song is AWESOME. Love that funky guitar in it, so good
