I followed your build very close but made some changes. I do not have a 4" hang on mine. I done believe it will affect it. Makes it easier to fit people on. Best simple diy for a bench table conversion on yt.
I told my wife, I love this channel because I found the DIY bench, all the videos are amazing and the dude is very smart, and she said "so...subscribe" and I did it today, Jan 15 2023 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is awesome. i built one out of 2x4's EXACTLY like it............in 1976! It has sat in my screen patio (rain and snowed on!) ever since and we use it all the time and it's still just like new ! ! !
Love the way this can be duplicated and used as bench seating while you're cooking out and then put together facing each other like a traditional picnic table. Will try to make! Thanks!
awesome build. I think I will have to make a few of those for my house, & my family & friends....Christmas gifts maybe. I also was looking at it & may scale it down a little to make a chair/desk for my sons room since we have limited space & Ill put a solid top & seat so there will be a smooth work surface. love the idea & inspiration yall keep up the great work I appreciate you and your family & you know all your subscribers feel the same way!
Oh I love this concept. I just had to share this video. You may not need a bench table more than a couple times a year, but everyone needs a place to sit and talk or just enjoy the garden. This way you have both. And 2 will fit nicely around the yard, and come together for a family meal. Also great for small one room living spaces, seating as well as a table when you need it!
Great idea! I've seen kits to do this with but have been wanting to not make it with those. 2 ideas: 1) Build 2 of them to make a full size picnic table, and 2) Use T- Nuts with the eyebolts. Screw the bolts in and it will lock the top solid.
A U shaped bracket should stop the movement of the table top as it will be secured in place in two spots, you will end up with 3 holes to allow for it transforming. Hope that makes sense :D
As an amateur with woodworker, I typically feel overpowered with the entire arrangement. Be that as it may, this arrangements drove me through with much clarity and effortlessness [Link Here== *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . I now work like a genius. That is great!?
Good work! I would sand all parts before putting them together. And since you were not using glue, the parts could have been stained before assembly as well. I made a couple of those and sold them last year. I will probably do the same this year.
Hello i love it! Can someone just write down the full list of material, i feel like there’s a lot missing : 2 wideboard Scrap board Clamps 2 Short board 18" (front) 2 board 30" (rear) 2 1/2 screws pack 3/8 thread rod Locking nuts 3/8 inch eye bolts
Should have stained the seat and table top before attaching...would have been easier to cover all surfaces. Maybe a second coat to help with the weather.
hola un saludo y un abrazo desde chile, me gustan tus videos pero es posible incluyas los planos o las medidas del video table bench outdoor furmiture, muchas gracias
TE FELICITO ! ESA ME GUSTO!
my friend. very nice. thank you. so much. be happy. bravo...................

Muito bom. Belo trabalho 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
Great job! Love the color contrast, in the beginning of the video I thought grey part was metal!
Nice table

That's nice and handy. You could go into business making those.
Thanks
Really cool project, I hope I can make something similar for my beach house.
Good idea
Nice video man. Quick and simple but still got all the important points across!
Thank you
Good one. Seems nice to have in yard.
Belíssima ideia..., adorei e aprendi mais uma!!! PARABÉNS meu Amigo.
Abraço aqui do Brasil 🇧🇷

I like it.
Wow! That is a great idea. They should put them into parks to use.
I agree!
Love it!!!!! Great job! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks
Interessante e prática!
Good design👍👍👍
Very cool
Great idea and very good build.
- W O W ! ! ! nicely done & appears "do-able" for a beginner, like me. Thanx 4 sharing.
Brilliant. The wobbling of table top can be removed by useing one pair of eye bolts on each side.

Awesome!!
Great project. I have to make one!

Inspiring
Really a great build. I like it very much! I’m sure I will end up building one of these for myself, lol. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, I hope you can enjoy building it too 😀
Nice. Thanks for sharing!
your table bench would be good for people in a wheelchair, who are not able to easily transferred to the bench excellent job!! Keep up the good work.
Awesome. Buddy..
OUTSTANDING! : )
Thanks
Nice work. You got a new subscriber.

How much did you sell them for?
Linda parabéns
Cool video neighbor, never new you had a channel. Love your channel!
Thank you, I don't talk about it much. It's a great way to inspire people to build stuff that inspires them.
Hello i love it! Can someone just write down the full list of material, i feel like there’s a lot missing :
2 wideboard
Scrap board
Clamps
2 Short board 18" (front)
2 board 30" (rear)
2 1/2 screws pack
3/8 thread rod
Locking nuts
3/8 inch eye bolts
Love the idea! How did you determine where to mount the pivoting pieces?
Quero fazer uma 👍👍
How much 2x4 did you use? Do you have a source for the blueprints ?
I'm going to build one thanks
Has anyone considered making two of these and combining them side by side to form a bigger picnic table?
Do you have specific plans for this anywhere for sale or a way to print it out? Thanks
awesome idea, I will have to see about making some of these. Keep up the good work.
Muy bueno, que medidas son
Quick way to evenly space boards is drop a 16d nail between them. Quick and easy.
Great tip, thanks
Thanks so much for the video, this is brilliant! I can't wait to give this a go!
Topdelinha vo tentar fazer um com certeza
I'd add a string and tie one of the ends to the "key" that you remove to make it a bench, and the 2nd end to the table to not lose the key
Should have stained the seat and table top before attaching...would have been easier to cover all surfaces. Maybe a second coat to help with the weather.
Can you please give me the entire dimensions of the bench? What are the widths of the table for smoothing folding and prevent overlaying. Thanks
Can i get the actual measurements and material list for this build
Where can I get the plans and measure ments
hola un saludo y un abrazo desde chile, me gustan tus videos pero es posible incluyas los planos o las medidas del video table bench outdoor furmiture, muchas gracias
What is the make of the planer you used?
Porter Cable

Awesome, I want to build one. Do you have the dimensions on paper or at least a list? Thanks
I am sorry, but I do not. I have been thinking about getting some plans together in the future. I will let you know when I do.
I’m watching on an iPad where can I get the plans for this ?
Could I be cheeky and ask for the size of cuts and rough plan
Where can I see the dimensions?
Plans?
May i get the plan messurements please
