I worked my first job at Disneyland as a dancer in the electrical parade in 1972 yes I agree with you on this track; yeah I'm old! Love DB a long, long time.
My Favorite Dirtybird release this year, was 2PHARGON- Feel A Little Strange. Once I learned who 2PHARGON was...that made the track even better! 👏👏👏🤘🤙🔥❤👊
I grew up near Leeds and from 1991 to 1995 the house/techno/rave scene there was amazing, better than Berlin. It's more of a modern City these, but still has a pretty decent music scene.
I'm so sad i missed the show with Nala when she was in minneapolis the other weekend :< i didn't want to go alone though and no friends that wanted to come, can be hard to convince people when its all snowy and gross haha
Honestly nothing really spoke to me on the dirty bird label this year besides penguin hit squad. Dropping a bunch of no names in batches constantly really waters down your brand for myself. If someone in the comment enjoys them more power to you.
In a way I kind of agree with you. For me penguin hit squad was a real banger at first but every time I've played it at shows or listen to it again after a while it really seems to have lost its sparkle. It's kind of like the track isn't properly side chained during the drop.
Honestly, releasing a bunch of "no names" on the label has made Dirtybird fresher than ever. Sven Lochenhoer, Audiojack, Niko Boggs and Different Kind's releases absolutely killed every time I played them, and nearly everything on the label this year was at the least really good. (And that's not to mention the absolute killers on the Birdfeed, whew)
This no names are starting their Dj careers and the DIRTYBIRD label is giving them a chance and in the near Future they will be household names, so don't belittle have some respect for their work because they're the next big thing in the Label mark my words.
@@henriqueguimaraes121 I have to respect their work if I don't find it vibes with what I want to hear? Each one gets less than 5k views, I would love for them to do good, but being houses hold names is a very high mark to aim for, this was simply how I felt about the 2022 release schedule. Being a "No name" isn't an insult either, they're simply not as big as numerous artists that have released on Dirty Bird, and as I said before it's hard to listen or care when they're dropped in batches with little to no hype. I feel its quantity of quality and I was leaving constructive criticism because I like the label. I could have very easily just said it's all trash and disliked the video. But I didn't, because I know there's something there if they maybe took some time to polish and make something unique. For example, a few years ago when mooda koopa dropped on a live stream before the release, I KNEW that was Marc Spence, I couldn't wait for it to drop after hearing that shit bang. Steve darko is the only up and comer who I can instantly recognize in a mix.
@@warj.3577 I got no love dropping most those tracks in my sets, but I know if I throw down anything from most dirty bird BBQs I get a lot of reaction. Seems most people just want to drop or listen to new music to seem hip or ahead of the curve.
Man this dudes really funky electric style.
