Steve mentioned on the right front fender it’s a turn signal indicator, it’s actually just an amber marker light still a great video. I’m glad he’s doing better.
Steve, I love your video reviews, they are insanely informative & entertaining, I learn so much, and I am sure when I choose to buy any or some of these amazing beautiful cars I will be fine & proud. I look at your videos daily, more, more, please., and the virtual drives, icing.
Back in 81 I traded a 66 Impala convertible for a 69 Chevelle. The 396 had been replaced with a SB 400. Had those wheels. Its the one car I wished I had kept.
That side stripe is supposed to continue forward on the front fender , pand angle upwards , before running across the front edge of the car . The 5 spoke wheels and painted headlight bezels are from a ' 69 Chevelle . Aluminum heads were most certainly available on a 1968 L-78 Super Sport , ever hear of RPO L-89 ?
Gotta love that mean front facia 😊 my old man owned several GM muscle 💪 cars from novas to Chevelles to El Caminos ...hate that he was an abusive alcoholic but grateful that he influenced me to live GM cars and trucks
Watching on the Big Screen. Ricky Ruiz's and his parents found an Undelivered '69 COPO Chevelle in late '69 at Merolis Chevrolet in Downtown Detroit - The Same Color! 🤓
Some worked and some didn’t. They varied in quality but none would be considered good. I remember a .22 short version that misfired every other round, and the ones that did fire couldn’t hit a can three feet away. I have a 66 that my dad recovered from the trash can of a police range. It broke and the owner took it apart, couldn’t fix it, and threw it away. The cylinder won’t lock up. Even if there were parts available, the barrel is loose in the threads and I wouldn’t shoot it. It’s a conversation piece
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 Professor Steve is in ✏️📏📓🎓🍎 the 1968 GM model year big change for all models. Thank you Professor Steve this bring this old guy a lot of memories, very interesting & very informative ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍
Steve if you read these I am curious if you have been looking at the new inline 6's from chrysler. What I really want to know is if some crazy nutjob wanted to try to replicate the slant 6 could they work tipped over to the side?
Oh yeah - now we're talking!!! Right motor, right wheels, right year of manufacture {my birth year}; swap in a Jericho 5-speed, and slip on a pair of CHERRY BOMBS, and I'll take it!!!! Got change for several filthy Benjamin Franklins, Steve?
I certainly don't like to contradict an automotive expert such as Steve Magnante, but 1970 Chevelles had 14 inch wheels from the factory. I purchased one new in January, 1970. I do enjoy Steve's car reviews. I would like to see a 1971 Oldsmoble Cutlass Supreme SX
@@FrankStein1 There was also Buick GSX (perhaps also Olds 442 but too lazy to lookit up) in 1970 as far as GM A body, but 15" steel didn't mount on Chevelle until 1971 as the Camaro wheel. Too bad, as I think it would've made a difference for the LS6.
@@goratgo1970 it was ordered . It wasn't standard packaging . AMC WAS the only manufacturer in 1970 that put 15 inch wheels on a myscle car that wasn't special order. It was standard.
Steve, I disagree; factory A/C is great! It may be fine for you in the northeast USA but in the south, we have a lot of heat and humidity and the A/C is very desirable!
Amazing video, you work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10K into trading from just few months ago and now they are multimillionaires
Hello, I am very interested. As you know, there are tons of investments out there and without solid knowledge, I can't decide what is best. Can you explain further how you invest and earn?

I'm favoured, $90K every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America,, all thanks to Ms Ann Marie strunk😊
So great to see you doing well Steve!🙏
1968 is my favorite year for Chevelles, those taillights are the best looking of any year.
So glad to see you up and around. God Bless you keep these videos coming .
Steve, just want to thank you for what you do....glad to see you are healing everyday...keep on keeping on!!!
Steve, keep up the good work love your videos!
What a gorgeous example of a 68 Chevelle!
Great to see you Steve!
Thank you Steve
Great car. You're looking well, Steve.
Great seeing you again steve!!! Keep on going.
That thing could probably pull away from a light in 5th gear! Thanks for sharing High Octane Classics and Mr Magnante. ~ Chuck
Yeah. Your clutch will burn like a John Deere pulling a log truck outa mud.
Glad to see you getting around................Jay
What a beautiful car!! Your looking great Steve!!~
Continued healing my brother!!!~
Thank you Steve!👍
Another amazing car at High Octane Classics. The tour of the car with Steve M. Who better to introduce a car. Best wishes to the new owner.
Would have like to have seen 3:73 gears, still this thing is an animal!
As always good to hear the rundown from Steve. Keep on truck'n Steve.
My dad had a red SS396-325 with the Muncie 4sp. I thought it was the baddest thing around. Thanks Steve.
GM was such a strong company in the 60's
My buddy used to have a 66 ss with a 468 4 speed, car hauled ass! That 68 sounds great! Another good one Mags.
Steve mentioned on the right front fender it’s a turn signal indicator, it’s actually just an amber marker light still a great video. I’m glad he’s doing better.
I think those "Belted T/A" tires are at least 40 years old now. Keep that in mind when you're dropping the clutch at 6,000 rpm.

Awesome video and car!👌😎👍keep them coming Steve!
Nice looking Chevelle ! Thanks Mr Magnante 💯
( High Octane Classics too )
69 is the dream. 68 is 2nd place to it. I love the tail lights of the 69
Love the 68!
My favorite year chevelle

The 68 two door was a striking, attention getting body style regardless of its trim level.
112 inch wheelbase new for 1968 in GM A bodies.
Needs rear gear change and traction bars or a 4 link - but that's for the new owner.
Woow amazing 👍🏻
Very nice! Yellow isn’t my favorite color though. My favorite Chevelles are the 66 and 67’s. Thanks so much Steve. Take care! 🙏🏼
Mice car, Nice presentation
Lovely car, Steve! Are you already able/allowed to drive yourself?
Gotta love that mean front facia 😊 my old man owned several GM muscle 💪 cars from novas to Chevelles to El Caminos ...hate that he was an abusive alcoholic but grateful that he influenced me to live GM cars and trucks
THANKS STEVE
Wheelbase is a little smaller on the 68 through 72 as opposed to the 66 and 67.😮
The other dude said it was a 396.
Nice!!!!!
Awesome car!!

The 68 seemed to always play 2nd fiddle to the 69…
68 was my fav. year Chevelle even though i had a 72 i still wanted the 68
Go Steve Go
The 68-69 are my favorite Chevelle body style. They just look aggressive all the way around. Especially the front end. A Dream Car, but not in yellow.

You could order 15 inch but AMC is the only manufacturer in 1970 that had standard 15 inch offered . Of course that was on The Machine.
Yes 71 and 72 got the 5 spoke 15” wheels.

Hey Steve
❤👍
I worked with a guy who told me he sold his back in 1980 for $700 (roughly $2,500 today) because "the battery kept dying" and he wanted a truck.
all your videos no $ mentioned...
Too expensive! You can look them up!👉$54,995
First !

Waking up every 14th of each month to $210,000 it's a blessing to I and my family... Big gratitude to Ann Marie strunk🙌🏼

Hello how do you make such monthly?? I'm a born Christian and sometimes I feel so down of myself because of low finance but I still believe in God

How many pounds of Bondo does that rusted out piece of crap have?
Ok..all three American manufacturers had a similar mag wheel but who was first??
