Thank you so much for watching. I'm glad it was useful x
I'm about overwhelmed with the number of shows and patterns that I have viewed and heard about. Thanks for the trousers pattern run down.
There are a lot . Xxx
I don't have time to take part in the challenge this month but the Lilium pants have gone on my to-sew list. Thank you for your all your suggestions!
Hi Natalie, so glad the video was helpful. I love that one has gone on to to-sew list x
Thank you Claire...great vlog....maybe I will get brave one day and sew some pants. I actually have a Cashmerette pair that has been cut out for a year and then chickened out...hope to finish those...free patterns are awesome and you were clear and easy to watch...love your top...xx Karen
I am so happy that you found it useful. Trousers really scared me too. Thank you so much for watching. Xxx
Great vlog. I’ve made the wide leg pants and they’re fantastic. Quite a quick sew too 🎉
That's good news! X
Some great suggestions , thankyou . Sew frugal has pointed me to your channel and I look forward to seeing more 👍
Hi Charlotte thank you so much for watching and I hope you like my videos to come xxxx
Some lovely patterns there Clare, I made the Sara pleat pants last year for SewFrugal23 & wear them all the time & love them! Thanks for joining the vlogger tour again.
Thanks Sam, thanks for having me x
You’ve got some great finds Clare! Those cargo pants look really nice! 💞
Thanks Izzy , yes the cargo pants look good. X
Hi Clare! Wonderful free pant patterns! I'm glad I found you on the tour!❤
Thank you x
I would love to have a go making the Sara pleat pants. Thanks for the suggestions ❤
Oh I'm glad it was useful. Let me know if you do make them x
Thanks for finding the trouser patterns. I will be checking out the yoggers and cargo pants. I must make another Paddington top. I cut the back on the fold, extended the length, and sized down a bit. It is such a pretty, nice fitting top.
I'm so glad the vlog was useful. Yes the Paddington top is great x
Lovely video, Clare. Your Paddington top is beautiful.
I love wide leg trousers.
Oh thank you so much xxx
Great pattern choices x
Thank you. I hope you enjoyed the video x
Love your choices. My fave were the pleated pants. I just wish free patterns were a bit more size inclusive. That’s life I guess 😊
I know some are very limited. X
Great ideas and good luck making the trousers - I think I might try cargo pants for a change from usual pull on plain pants. X
Hi Helen glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching ❤️
This was a great blog! I’ve been watching these over the last few days, this is one of my favourites so far. It’s nice to see one focused on pants. I’m definitely going to nab the Sara’s & Louise’s.
Thanks for doing all that research 😄
I'm so glad it was useful. Thanks so much for watching ❤️
Thanks Clare. This is trousers sewing Spring for me and it’s great to find free choices. Take care-Claudia
So glad they are useful. Thanks for watching Claudia x
Nice list of free trousers patterns.
Thanks for watching ❤️
Great ideas! I've subscribed to your channel.
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing xxx
Great video. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for watching ❤️
First time I’ve found your blog Clare & will certainly subscribe. Big thank you for all the research you have done. I’ve only made trousers once & need to concentrate on ‘the fit’ before attempting any more, however may have a go at the joggers. Look forward to seeing what you decide to make. 😊Cheers Ali
Hi Alison thank you so much for stopping by and for subscribing I really appreciate it. I too need to work on fit! So watch this space and we will see how I get on! 😂
I’ve just looked at the Petite Stitchery patterns & ordered the Adult Dash Relaxed Leg Sweat Pants, so will see how they make up & if any good may enter those. My confidence in my sewing has been knocked & not made anything for quite a while so hoping this will get my sewjo back. 🤞
Love your vlog, I've only found it through the Sew Frugal 24 playlist for the first time. I made the wide leg trousers years ago and the pattern is really good, it really walks you through the fly front. I made them in too stiff fabric though so donated them. Maybe I should revisit the pattern!
Hi and welcome to my channel, I'm so glad you have found me. I'm glad you like the pattern. I hope they work for me too. Maybe you should make them too ❤️
I really want to give trouser making a try. I have made some shorts and 1 pair of pants before that I was not happy with. Lots of free patterns to try to find my style 🙂
Trousers are tricky, but a free pattern might be a good place to start ❤️ Thank you for watching and good luck with your trouser journey x
ooh love the look of the mountain pose pants, first time ive seen these and love hey June handmade so they will be a good one I'm sure. thanks!
Ah excellent, always good to find a free pattern from a company you already like. X
Great choices! I like the cargo option you highlight. I'll have to review Sam's video on downloading patterns from the Mood site.
Thanks Nancy. Yes Sam does have a good video about that x
Blouse is lovely on you, make another!!!😊
Thank you, I will do eventually x
I have wanted to try the wide leg pants.
Yes me too, slightly scared! X
@@StitchHemSew I bought the new Thea pattern so am going to give pants fitting a go. Probably will wait for closer to fall as it is already quite hot here.
I love peg legs leggings. I’ve made the calamint jeans from mood which is a free pattern as I wanted to try a zip fly and proper jeans and it’s good but I always struggle with fit as I’m petite but also wide 😂 I’m going to bookmark some of these as I’m determined to find a good trouser pattern thanks for the research.
I'm so glad it was a useful video. Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Hey Claire, I’ve just looked at the Hey June mountain pose pants and I quite liked them, so thought I’d make up a pair. However when I looked at the pattern, I couldn’t see the grainline marked. Do you think they will fall well if not cut perfectly on the grain?
Hmmm good question. The grain line often follows the same line as the A4 sheets, does that look likely on that pattern?
