- Kashmir performed Parwana Hun, giving it their best! From keyboards and rhythm to bass and drums, all the instruments unified to produce a magnetic sound. Vais did his usual magic on guitars and Bilal swept everyone away with his mesmerizing vocals.
Fawad's words "you'll turn back one day and realize those were the best days of your life" made me emotional man! took me back to 2002!!!!
Yet our Pakistani awam makes such talent feel like an after thought. Humay apnay talent ki hee qadar nh. Kashmir, this song just made me have an Eargasm.
The drum and guitar take this song to whole new level

Vais Khan should get similar appreciation as Bilal.

This song grows on you, courtesy great vocals by Bilal. This man has the ability to turn the shittiest lyrics into an amazing experience. The music of this band is "complete" in every sense. The only thing they need to work with is lyrics.

I loved Kashmir the band from the very first episode and their down to earth attitude. I am really glad they won.
I was never a fan of the type of music Badnaam plays(they surely are talented, but its just their music genre that i am not a fan of), but the final performance I have to say without any doubt was much better compared to all theie other songs.

You guys did OK in this episode, I was expecting more than what you guys performed in the previous episode ( which was phenomenal). Badnaam performed really really good in this episode and their performance in this episode shows their versatility - A slap on those who questioned their versatility. I really wish they had performed this song in the previous episode. Anyways, I like both the bands and a huge fan of bilal's falsetto, vais khan on guitar and Ahmed jilani's vocals and attitude . Both bands are different in their own ways (genre) and can't be compared. It really comes down to personnel preference and liking. I personally like badnaam, since I'm more into meaningful and mature music. I'm glad that we got to see some good music back in action and watching this band culture again is quite a relief. Thanks a lot to PEPSI. Already waiting for the next season.
Awwab De Qutab one has to take right decision at the right time. Judges pointed out many times to show some versatility and Badnam didn't. But when the show is over then they pick different song. For me I like Kashmir from the very first day but I must say last performance of Badnam was the best.
Zee Jay i agree that they should have played this song earlier as judges pointed out. But you cant just decide on one factor of versatility alone. That way I can also say that kashmir went into danger zone three times while badnaam never went into the danger zone .... Not even once. Versatility with easy music structure and simple lyrics and playing safe is no biggy. Badnaam went for difficult and mature compositions. Composing music for different kalaams and folk is a difficult job.
LOL Badnaam didn't write lyrics for any original songs. They just composed songs based on sufi poetry. Kashmir wrote all of their songs from scratch. Versatility is extremely important because Pepsi was looking for a band that would make more than just one album. If you're not versatile, you won't last in music for very long.

I agree! I didn't buy budha baba the first time I listened, as I didn't catch the lyrics the first time. Now I listen to budha baba and kagaz ka jahaz (and Mera Pyar)at least a couple times a day.
