Love the cards and love watching you 🥰 To answer your question, the snowflake only lines up ONE way and it’s entirely my fault 😂 I didn’t even think of it when I was working on it because everything lines up easily in a digital form. Then I got the product and I was like 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I do mention it in my Release and Snowflake videos I think. I’ll do better next time 🙈 See, like you said, it’s been a year!

I just bought a set of gorgeous snowflake does this year, but I must say these are great as well because they are a bit thicker which you need for embossing. I may need these too .

I love everything you create. I did have a thought about the glue on your hand. Have you thought of putting the glue on a nonstick surface like a silicone mat? I then use a sponge or just tap die cut in the glue.

Hi. Lovely cards and I do love a two-for. I'm willing to bet that, if you did turn the camera round, I would not be as shocked as you'd expect me to be but you'd be horrified to see my workspace if you think yours is messy and bear in mind my space is the first thing anyone sees coming into the the lounge. I'm only marginally embarrassed by it these days! 🤣 Thanks for sharing this cracking tutorial.

Marion I must tell you something that just happened to me with the stick it sheets. They are as thin as a layer of skin so they die cut well where my humungous 6” roll of SBC will not die cut! But I just used them recently for some very delicate very intricate snowflake dies. I was ecstatic that finally remembered! I do have the big shot switch so there is a lot more pressure and maybe that was part of the problem but I had such a time trying to get the backing off the skinny delicate snowflake! It came off but because it was so small of an area it wasn’t sticky everywhere! I had to glue them down anyway! So I wanted to share that if you planned on them for thin delicate or intricate dies. Jennifer McGuire loved altenews sticker sheets so I might as well add more to my pile! Lol I do want to try the wax paper for getting them out too. That’s just my recent experience. Maybe ask your subscribers about it if they’ve had trouble with very thin lined intricate dies before investing.
Hi Denise, I pretty much always use wax paper between my die and card, in this case I didn’t have to as the backing on the Els adhesive, pretty much acts the same way, but I think if I hadn’t backed it with card I would have struggled. Now you know I’m going to have to get me some Altenew sticker sheets 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
@@marionemberson 🤣😂😆 cracked me up! I laughed out loud in my house alone! Because you said now you have to get some altenew sheets! But me too and I just placed that order at SSS! And I forgot!!! But definitely will try wax paper. Some dies where it’s thin it’s harder to get them out. Great tip!
You are right about Zsoka and her color schemes! They are ones Ive never seen anyone use and always look so beautiful! She really is exceptionally talented and a darling woman.

I am wondering if you could help me. I have a very little bit left of judi kins embossing powder in translucent gold. I cannot find it anywhere - what would you suggest to use going forward.
Hi Debra, I’m only familiar with the WOW golds, they currently do metallic gold rich and metallic gold rich pale, next Wednesdays video shows me using the gold rich pale, you could make a comparison. Do you have the actual name of the JudiKins or was it just called translucent gold, I can try and do a bit of digging for you. 🥰🥰🥰
Just my opinion, you covered that gorgeous sparkling silver with the wax paper. It really dulled that down. Maybe if you embossed the wax paper or inked it? I saw the page with enamel dots from pocket full of happiness but only one color. Did I not look in the right spot?
Hi Denise, it probably looks a bit dull looking straight on, but as you hold it the silver shimmers through as I didn’t stick it all down just the centre, to allow ‘movement’
I had to link to a colour, but if you’re on her site, go to ‘store’ and scroll down and you’ll see the enamel dots, so much colour choice.

@@marionemberson I got myself into trouble today! Oh boy! I had a $15 off from Simonssaysstamp for my birthday and Thurman I had been on pocket full of happiness and saw that there were only 1 left of a cover plate I’ve wanted and just 2 of another so I placed an order there! So I did see all the enamel dots. Actually when I sent her an email to check on her, I asked her where she gets the cardstock she uses because it matches all the dots. I had a combo in mind for Father’s Day card and I couldn’t get the dots until I know if I can get the paper. She uses this off white that is stunning and I’m not a warm person. I like cool tones and bright white. You can see it on the dragonfly die set card she made for the product page. So I’m curious to see what she says. And I have been thinking about her constantly! I’m really concerned for her. So I told her don’t worry about shipping the orders and TH-cam, just take time to heal. She’s such a go getter! So I’ll let you know if I find out. But yeah, 2 big orders. Simons was hers wasn’t too bad but $100 and SSS was $173!!! I was worried later because I had forgotten I had to buy gas for the car! LOL talk about an addict! And I never have time to use any of the stuff! I have my last order from Zsoka that I haven’t used! I need a help group! Lol I can’t afford to shop like that on disability income! I think I do that sometimes because I don’t have time to create it’s kind of a substitution. But I’m done now. No more. I didn’t want to waste the $15 off for my birthday.

I think she uses spellbinders Cardstock, such beautiful colours, but I could be wrong. She’s doing really well, I’ve been chatting to her and hoping to see her at a trade show in Germany in January/February, we’ve both got a big hug for each other 🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰 Oh and happy belated birthday lovely 🥰🥰🥰

You can be great support for each other and it’s just wonderful. That makes me so happy! Can't we die cut first and then brayer the embossing stamp on top and then emboss?
You certainly can Laura, this is my preferred way, especially when I’m using powders that have a mix of colours and grades, as I can then choose where I die cut 🤗🤗🤗

When you make “snow” on the background, will any white embossing powder work as long as you heat it from underneath? Or do you have to use a special kind so that the snow sticks up some. I like the effect of dimensional snow like you do. Pretty cards.

Is Ultra high the same as Ultra Thick, which is what I have underneath another brand.(I do have some regular WOW embossing powder and glitter, though)

There is a lady from Scrapbooking Made Simple from California that makes a product called sticky dots, that I like to use for smaller die cut pieces to adhere to other items....she is the originator of that product and sells it cheaper than others...small business owner(mom & pop shop)
Ohhh is that Stacey ? If so, I know Stacey, but I didn’t know that !!! I’ve used the Sticky Specs, but I feel there’s a technique to getting the item off the sheet, especially if it’s really delicate. 🙈🙈🥰🥰🥰
You probably already know this but when adding glitter to your sticky tape before you remove the excess if you rub/ burnish all over with your finger then brush off the dress the glitter that remains is set into the tape and won't fall off. Also if you had taken and covered the whole paper in the glitter before you diecut it you could have used all the diecut pieces as well as the negative in different projects. Hope this helps. I LOVE that first card!!! I love snowflakes and sparkly things. I had an easier idea for you on the glitter word dies-use glitter card stock silly! You already embossed the snowflake!

@@marionemberson I didn’t know how to keep it on but I have judikins glue which is an actual glue but will work fantastically for putting on cardstock and it looks like shiny plastic! So I could use that.
