I have an overnight solution for this. Fully allow members of congress to trade all they want but set them up to all use the same brokerage firm which then has to report all their trades onto a public website in real time. Boom. Problem solved!
Look at fundamentals, AMD is growing rev by like 50% yoy now. The market simply thinks its either AMD or NVIDIA in the AI and data centre space without realizing there's space for both to succeed, since NVIDIA is ahead, everyone thinks AMD is done. When AMD start showing massive gains from the AI and Data Centre part of their business they're going to skyrocket just like NVIDIA and Broadcom.
I think this Congress stock buying thing is way overblown. They, Congress, have to report their stock purchases similar to executives of the any public traded company. However, we don’t go conspiracy theory about CEOs buying their own stock. We can literally see the sausage making of any proposed legislation because it’s public information and we can see how each member of congress voted basically in real time. It’s strange that we insinuate Congress having some sort of insider knowledge before anyone else but that’s literally never been proven. Real time example, no american politician has purchased palantir stock as of September 2024 but this stock is continually gaining military contract after military contract. Where’s the insider knowledge to purchase a high growth stock on this one? Why are they continuing to purchase well known and proven stocks like Amazon, Google, or Microsoft but not a potential high growth stock like Palantir which had a single digit stock price just a few years ago? Palantir has seen 1,000s percent stock price increase in a short few years. This Congress insider trader knowledge bit is getting old.

I was pretty mad about the whole Congress buying stocks thing. But, if this is what they’re buying, I mean, not exactly Earth shattering stuff. No out of nowhere buys screaming “insider knowledge”. These are just good sound stocks. Probably recommended by most stock services.
Yet for people who's idea of a "sound investment" is a lottery ticket or buying a new car, it's basically highway robbery and a zero sum game. If they make money, they are taking it from you. Even though their own 401-K probably depends on the same companies doing well. This is one of many, many reasons Trump said "- I love the uneducated!"

@ the stocks you highlighted are common knowledge. If you claim congress’ picks , everyone will think your discovering curious and intriguing stocks. Like other channels have some pretty curious congress choices and here just seems like the ideas are from the front page of the newspaper. Nothing salty pal just being honest
