Just throwing it out there for future Halloween videos, I manufacture a lot of Halloween props, and use your pneumatics. Maybe I could help you with the mechanical portion, and even how i use a click for the movement. Most of the time I just use your controllers and pneumatics for escape rooms, but I have been building Halloween animatroinics for almost 20 years.
@JasonCalPayne Position the (loud) compressor a long way from the "haunt" or else it may scare people when it kicks in unexpectedly. :D And use proper air prep: filter, regulator, and maybe even a dryer (depending on your local humidity levels) - to keep moisture out of the pneumatic components. Thanks for the comment and let us know if you have any further questions on our products!
While AutomationDirect doesn't have any sensors like that, I have used little piezo elements in that past to detect impacts. Something like this: www.sparkfun.com/products/10293. Impact generates a voltage you can detect.
I doubt you will find a relay that a peizo would trip - it would be a very quick voltage spike that you would need an interrupt or rising edge logic on a processor to detect. Or, do a google search on "how to detect impact using piezo" to see other ways to do this.
I'd love to see a video using a click PLC and a FM transmitter to control a christmas light setup that looks like the classic christmas hershey kiss comercial (We wish you a merry Christmas) Drum instruction maybe? I think it would be cool to merge 2 recent video tutorials (High speed counter and PID control) to build an electric PID controlled bike using a Click plc, WEG VFD and a C-more hmi, with a cruise control function using a prox sensor and a magnet on the bike wheel. Too complicated? This project idea would also be a good idea to show how your ethernet comunication products can work together.

We would love to collaborate with you - we'll be in touch.
Do you have something like the pop up ghost from Disneyland haunted mansion
Sorry, we don't have a video like that ...
Any instructions/tip
with the air compressor and hooking it up to this?

@@automationdirectthanks. I just missed a part order. What parts did you connect both of the ends of cylinder if I’m only using wood?
So I would still need to buy an air compressor in order to use this setup correct? Meaning that this will no longer be less than $100
Yes, Sam. Make sure you go check out more of our products at www.automationdirect.com/adc/home/home
A vibration sensor for paintball targets would be nice. I called and they said you did not have a vibration or shock sensor that would work.

AutomationDirect.com Would you happen to have a relay that the pizeo would trip ?
