Its most definitely a good camera once you understand its limitations. I bought mine to shoot my own music videos and for b roll. Lighting is key with this camera. anything over 800 ISO is horrible footage however it looks like film grain so I might use it for an effect. Great for BTS and Vlogging. I would buy another pocket 2!
Yep that’s the way to do it. Get the previous version because it goes on sale as soon as the new one is released. I did the same for a Sony action camera a few years ago. That gets it in your hands to learn it, get used to it, and time to save up for the upgrade if you love it enough to do so. Have fun with it!

I bought one new last week and I love it. When I hear people disparage it I remind myself that to buy something this powerful with a gimbal, twenty years ago, would have cost thousands of dollars and would be very heavy.

Same thing that I did, bought the Pocket 2 since it's price has gone down. I know it's the newer one has a bigger sensor so it's better for low light, but my budget is only for the pocket 2, nonetheless, I love my pocket 2 and it works fine and brought it with me whenever me and my family are travelling, very compact and the video quality is amazing, plus I don't have to worry about my phone storage, because I already have a dedicated camera for it. Thank you for the video 🥰

I did get the Pocket 3 but I already had the Pocket 2 and did not sell it. I had trouble with the 2 because I couldn’t really see the screen but didn’t find the Mimo app always convenient. However I am glad I kept the 2 because it comes in handy as an extra point of view. Got the 3 because of battery life among a couple of other things. I respect you for getting the 2 used. You look like you are having fun. What did you use for the dashboard of the car? Both are great for nature walks and thanks for the deer!
Yes, I see the Pocket 3 has good feedback as well! I actually just balanced the camera on my steering wheel in this video lol, but I did get an actual mount that I'll be showing in an upcoming vlog. Thanks for watching!
