Hey Kine, you say that Ralsei must've had some earlier contact with Kris in the previous night or before the first chapter. However, when we spectate the Susie vs Lancer fight, Ralsei is also secretly speaking with Kris (he also ends with "so that's why..."" here). I speculate Ralsei teaches Kris how to open Dark Fountains, otherwise, how else would they learn this? It's the most likely plausibility for their Chp1 secret convo
@neonotterpop2528 toby fox is LITERALLY one of the most compelling storytellers ever, ralsei being evil would be a shitty twist ESPECIALLY for his standards.
I never thought of the idea that Kris was deliberately stopping us from seeing the ferris wheel scene to keep us away from Noelle, that’s a super cool way to look at things. Good & silly video.
in life, there are few pleasures that match owning your own large whiteboard. we are taught they are of significance early on in life though education and businesses. most every school, library, and other facility of any purpose (at least where i live) has one. i respect that you have such a large whiteboard.
Interesting video. However, you are no longer allowed to be romantically interested in any other human because they are of the same species as your family and that is weird
if you add the fact that the player is trying to get with Noelle on Snowgrave, it makes sense ig it reminds me of that question Susie asked after chapter 2, "Ralsei or Noelle?". I guess Snowgrave is you choosing Noelle.
My theory is that Ralsei was contacted like Jevil and Spamton were, but didn't go crazy. He knows things he shouldn't, Jevil and Spamton know things they shouldn't either. Spamton and Jevil were both depicted to of lost their place in society, but Ralsei didn't have a society to begin with. So this could mean many things. (I have no idea what since they haven't released the rest of the game yet.)
Omg I'm so glad I found your video because same, I heavily disliked Ralsei in chapter 2 But I saw most people only talking about how he was cute and stuff and never bringing his behavior up? The way he's so possessive and seemingly obsessed with us or Kris (not sure yet) always made me uncomfortable
All his cute moments were almost forcingly cutesy, so I noticed his weird possessive behaviour as well. Even some small moments like him coming to the Cyber World out of nowhere (is he able to travel through Light World or what??) or him mentioning Kris is good at video games.
@@DetetivePablo25 That I think can be easily brushed off with the fact he's from the 'Pure Foutain'. If that Fontaine can have any type of Darker alive, then naturally any Darkner from it can be alive in any Dark World. But this was also never said directly, so it's a VERY possible overlookable foreshadowing.
I'll just repeat what I always said: Ralsei is just Flowey chasing the player's affection through another game. My theory: After we (the player) finish Undertale, Flowey got lonely, and bored, having no one else to "play with" the same way he played with us. (remember he said we were the only one he found any fun to play with anymore, because as the player, we are unpredictable) So he found a way to get out of that game, into another one, maybe he was found by gaster, between dimensions, and they both came up with a plan to "attract" the soul, the player, into a new vessel, into a new game. A new world, where everything was different and new, yet similar and nostalgic. It was all on purpose so Gaster could maybe experiment and study us, while Flowey could spend time with us, but this time, as a new character, someone we would trust and love. So he became Ralsei, our lovable fluffy and super nice guide to this new adventure. He made up a profecy and made himself one of the heroes, he's trying to be our friend for real this time, although he is still manipulating and lying to us. Maybe that's why he was so afraid to show his face at first. Scared of us (the player) connecting the dots, because of his similar appearence to Asriel. What do people do when they want to disguise? They put on glasses, maybe a scarf... Also, one of the official undertale merch shows Ralsei made out of flowers, and it's literally called "Floralsei", just sayin'...
@@dalila2442 makes sense, cuz flowey announced ut on twitter and gaster announced dr on Twitter, so connection there. Only issue is toby said the endings of undertale do not cause nor affect deltarune. Tho he also said dr is for people who played ut and narrator of dr has extensive knowledge of ut
@@serdarmurat1515 Maybe he said it doesn't affect it because it's a different universe/game, but considering how meta both games are, I wouldn't be surprised if some characters could jump between them. And the game very clearly teases us about already knowing the characters, specially when we talk to sans, it's almost like the game knows we came from undertale and thus we're excited to see the characters again. And this makes me think of something else... What if it's intentional? To me, the wolrd of deltarune always seemed a bit... wish fullfilment-y? Like... imagine a entity wants to grab your attention to an experiment, so it uses what it knows you already like, but changes things a bit so it's not the exact same. Maybe tries to "improve" some aspects about the story to what it thinks we would enjoy to see. "What if the characters lived in the surface?" "What if Asriel never died and instead grew up as your brother?" "What if-" And maybe that's how the deltarune timeline was manufactured. Just a crazy thought, tho xD Imagine Gaster and Flowey planning the player's next adventure as if they were the game devs lol
This is a nice theory but what about flowey having no soul? I feel like that would be important. Because I think after Genocide, we give up our soul to the mystery voice on the black screen (Probably Gaster) to unease the world. And that soul is probably used in Deltarune, so unless you got a good counterpoint or later my idea gets debunk, this is just fan-craft. :But hear me out, both the annoying dog/toby and flower have the same close smile. Flowey just got bigger eyes. (Joking):
@IsaiasMartinez-o8x I'm sorry, but I'm not sure if I understood what you meant about the soul... if what you mean is that Flowey can't be Ralsei because he has no soul, and he said it himself he couldn't feel anything because of it, I think Flowey is wrong about himself. Maybe he thinks that because after experiencing everything so many times and seeing everything the game had to offer, he became apathetic to that world. The characters became too boring and predictable, until he found us, the player. (Honestly, who wouldn't disconnect from their reality if found out it was all pre-determined and repetitive dialog?) BUT, I think he still DOES care and have feelings, deep inside. Specially after the pacifist route, when he (even already in flower form again) asks us to not reset the game, so the characters can be happy. Also, there are some interesting post-pacifist dialogs from the official Undertale alarm clock that suggests Flowey did not go back to being a psychopath. Papyrus gave him a cute bow and he actually wore it, and it's heavily implied he put Toriel to bed and filled a glass of water for her when she got drunk and sad after a christmas night.
Even though I already know all this because I've been festering in the Deltarune fandom for years now, I like the whiteboard and I think it's funny. Thank you for making cool videos :)
It gets much more suspicious when you think a little hard about what Ralsie does. Throughout the game, Ralsie wants you to spare everyone, which results in them moving to castle town. However, lancer and Rouls' kard turn to stone because they were "outside of their dark worlds," as explained by our brother doppelganger. If Ralsie knows this, then why does he want everyone in castle town, outside of their dark world? Also, why do only Lancer and Rouls turn to stone? Everyone else who moved outside of their dark world never petrified. I mean, Ralsie went to the cyber world, and he never turned to stone. What gives?
You are out of the loop there, no one in the CastleTown dark fountain turns to stone because they shouldn't. As Ralsei says, they turn to stone when they nature doesn't align with the world they are in, which would be most worlds that aren't their native one, but for one reason or another, the Storage Closet dark world can. There are a lot of explanations to the *why* this that are mostly left implicit in the game, but fact is that the Grand Dark Fountain is extra special magic.
@@JustNate112 did you not listen to him? he said they MIGHT turn to stone if they dont fit in, and the OG star walker dosent turn to stone AT ALL. and neither does jevil, even though he can talk.

But-
