I also got the Dyson vacuum as a gift for my 29th birthday from my mom haha! I referred to it as my "this is how I know I'm getting older" gift because I was truly overjoyed to get a vacuum for my birthday. It is amazing.
I gifted that one to my daughter and son. They are your age. They also love it. So I bought it. Works great!
This video and the “things that’s sparks joy to me” and the “things I’ve done to my face” has been so refreshing and I true my love them. Also I went to Montreal this year and fell in love with the city

Oh, the Adidas Samba - I completely relate. I succumbed to the hype and bought the same pair while in New York because everyone was wearing them. However, once I returned to London, I quickly sold them. They were uncomfortable, my foot kept slipping out, and they didn't complement any of my outfits, despite my love for the sage colour.

I completely agree about the always pan. I used to love mine but after a year i stopped loving it. Not worth it. Also minority opinion here: Shark cordless vacuums are better than Dyson in my opinion at half the price point lol. Has more suction power!

I splurged on a Dyson Outsize when it was on sale 2 years ago and it is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made! I went from vacuuming once in a blue moon to vacuuming nearly daily, and it’s completely replaced sweeping for me as well because it works great on hard floors. They’re expensive but they are so worth it.
I also got a small kindle as a birthday gift from my husband a couple of years ago. I was always a physical book person, too, but now I’m a total convert! They get pretty marked down on Amazon during their Prime days, so it’s easy to get a good deal.

I bought an aritzia super puff like 5 years ago, it’s the long taupe color and I really love it. They’re also really easy to wash, I’ve never had a problem throwing them in the washing machine x

You know you’re an adult when you get a Dyson vacuum for your birthday lol I got a similar Dyson vacuum for Christmas one year and I love vacuuming now. I don’t know what it is about the Dyson but it’s just picks up anything and everything and it makes me feel like my house is much cleaner than it actually is.😅

The TNA Powder Dri Parka is such a good jacket for cold winters! The quality is so much better than the Superpuff and keeps you so much warmer! I have it in black, it's long, and it's the best thing ever

Looove this video and you actually focusing on practicality of those products. Definitely agree about dyson vacuum. I had what I thought was a great vacuum until my mother in law got one and I tested it. It saved me at least 10mins of time per session and lifted ALL the cat hair out of carpet. I used to vacuum my carpet for ever and stll brushed it out once a month to get all the pet hair out of it. Now I quickly go over it with dyson and it’s perfect.

Adidas Gazelles are where it’s at. They have a nice little arch support cushion, and come in new colours every year.
As another Canadian that lives in a snowbelt region on the coast of Georgian Bay, the knee length coat is THE MOVE. No short parka can compete. You simply need a big ass long parka for winters here. Great budget options for Canadians include Colombia or Borealis (the Sail brand).
Bought the Sambas in white with black stripes for the same reason...love love love them! I'm finding them to be my go to sneakers, almost feel like a sliper!

I purchased 4 of the various sizes of the Always pans...I totally regret it. I got the clay pink color and the backs are already discoloring. For the cost they should have been made to stand up to high heat. It is what it is and lesson learned. I also have another huge regret buying a RH dupe for the Cloud sofa...the one I ordered online with great reviews has feather quills that are always poking out. It is annoying and such a waste of money.

I am 35 now and I realize that I more and more want to invest in an amazing closet full of timeless pieces. If I buy trend pieces I will buy the cheaper versions of it or something I already loved for years like certain colors or fabrics.

I'm totally with you on the Sambas. I tried them, but they give zero support, they don't stay on your feet and look like bowling shoes. 😅 I feel most people who got them will agree when the hype has died down

I will never buy another Dyson vacuum again I had mine for maybe 5 years and the head broke not fixable the vacuum guy showed us he had a ton to “fix”..too hyped!

Totally agree about the Sambas. Luckily I resisted and when my friend bought it (we are the same size) I tried them I found them very uncomfortable and really too flat. It’s okay if you have no issues at all with your ankles, meaning even little lymphatic swelling.
I adore to see them on the others anyway.
I’m glad I am not the only one who’s feelings changed on those pans, I bought 2 as well and after a year of use they are not great. Such a bummer because like you said, they come in beautiful colors! :(

Was wondering about the Aupen bag. I’m always leery of items that ship from China and saw the return policy charges you $80 to ship it back. Regarding nonstick pans I feel like they just don’t last very long. I started just buying cheap ones from TJ Maxx and replace every year or as needed.
Almost 500$ for pleather is insane. Like you could get something that is better quality at a thrift store. Big time save your money!
Capitalism at its finest. That bag has no intrinsic value beyond its ability to hold stuff. It is purely plastic, costs the company nearly nothing to make. And it's gonna end up in a landfill for 500 years.

I 100% agree on both the always pan and adidas shoes!! I had the exact same issues with the ankle slipping out I even tried putting in insoles and honestly it’s just the shoe. I really regret buying my pan for the price the longevity just isn’t there I’ve had it about a year
Omg, I love the sambas. Agreed that they aren't the most comfy, but they have a slim profile which works well with dresses and wide leg pants. It's a great alternative to more chunky New Balance sneakers. I have both and love both.
I love these types of videos. We need part 2 Jamie. I have to say I have 4 Dyson’s and the sticks are the worst! The battery runs out before i’m done downstairs and it’s a wooden floor. The only thing I like it for is to clean the kitchen floor but it’s an expensive kitchen floor cleaner when a dustpan also works.
I also watch the Canadian LV Aliquette on YT and she also has exactly 4 super puffs! She loves them.
I was also influenced by Ms. Swift, but with a piece of jewelry. Taylor wore a necklace from CatbirdNYC x Phoebe Bridgers, and I fell in love with the Swimming Pool chain. It looks so sleek and you could actually see the chain on Taylor's neck from far away. I looked at that chain for MONTHS on the Catbird site, and finally pulled the trigger for Black Friday. It hasn't gotten here yet, but I expect I will be happy with it.

It is easy to get influenced to buy things. On UGGs. I agree with you. We are here in Ontario. My girls are in the 30s now they have been wearing UGG for almost 20 years. I never allowed them to wear their UGGs in the snow. They have their winter boot versions as well, Along with their Sorels, and Pajor.. I learned that the UGG’s is an inside shoe. They are worn in the outback in Australia, inside the home for the cold nights. It looks so weird in places in Italy etc where they are wearing UGGS and fur coats etc. and the temperature is 6 Celsius. Almost summer here. They are Fashion victims lol

Ok, so I have to say this about Uggs. I am an Australian, so to me, uggs are slippers. I have never understood why you would wear them as anything else. They are not designed to be worn outside (no amount of different designs will convince me differently) unless you are in sweats and going to pick up milk from the corner shop. So I completely believe that they would not hold up in the snow. If you want some uggs, get them to wear around the house as they were originally designed for, you'll be so glad you did.

Jamie, I was also influenced to buy that damn always pan. IT'S HORRIBLE. It doesn't do what it says and there is no non-stick properties left. I'd rather pay for a normal pan.

I work for a company that works very closely with dyson. Unfortunately dyson vacuums (over other brands) are returned the most. I also own a few and can speak on experience: over time the stand vacuums (any one with the balls) have issues with the carpet bar (burnout of motors) and the cordless has issues with the batteries (although here’s a hack, you can use power tool batteries that are compatible like dewalt, Milwaukee, etc)
The sambas look so good but they’re also on my regret list! My heel also goes up and the back of the shoe cuts my heel up

I love stainless steel for regular cooking pans/pots, but for eggs, I will always have a TFal non-stick in my kitchen!

The Sambas I adore…the green color might be a styling issue, but it doesn’t have to be. If they aren’t comfy any color wouldn’t be a plus for u.
I treated my always pan like a baby. Didn't even store the steamer inside the pan. Nothing metal touched the pan and it still went to shit within the year. Always the worst pan.

I have a super smart, standard poodle, I Purchased, the pet buttons too, and I tried and tried and tried, and maybe he’s just too old, but he was not interested in those buttons whatsoever. I did purchase cheap Knock off buttons.
