They *have* to update other suits with shields to hold them like this with their primary weapon. It's been a huge complaint from the start that shields are just dangled at your side unless you are walking backwards. I really hope this is a sign of things to come.
At first with the 7th gundam release i just thought it was an one thing only, but now it feels the devs simply are straight up mocking OG gundam fans/mains by taking all of our requests on how to buff the actual damn suit that carries the name of the whole franchise and giving it to all of the imitations/wannabes while insisting on refusing to give a mere buff to gramps 🤡🤡🤡🤡 But oh well, looks like i just got a new 550 cost main, time to keep good ol' GP01 in garage
Not even funny how the imitation came out better than the original ffs he can shoot and hold his shield like og gundam plus 2 or 3 extra range weapons and 2 melees damn it all 🙄 Og could do everything of that in the show but here ? Nah just a gm with a better face take or leave said bb
I used to be hyped about the G7 and Perfect. But with all of the attention drawn to the refusal to buff the og 78-2 or even the G3, I'll just use the Alex. Why use a murderous doctor's imitation, when you can have the suit Wiseman gave his life to stop?
@SpiderChieftain I still resent that the original flavor Granddad is getting this casual disrespect from both the unarmored G7 (which wouldn't sortie in that way bc FA was part of the G7 project) and the Psycho Za- I mean, the Perfect Gundam. Surely, there's someone in the dev team that didn't connect well to the original source material and has more love for the games and Thunderbolt, it'd be a shame if BamCo threw the OG RX-78-2 under the bus after all it did to carry Sunrise and Bandai.

New dude In charge has made some good decisions. Like this suit the Grandpa, HyakuShiki, mk 2, ZeroShiki, Nu, and Hi-Nu should all get their bazooka as a sub weapon, tbh. Sinanju should get the fire while boosting that Engage Zero has as well.
so this suit gets a beam rifle, a bazooka, a small beam gun, a single sable, double sabers. and ol grandpa gundam cant even get duel beam sabers as a sub?? when amuro would duel them in the anime's

Btw this suit is more Zaku than gundam, it really has the generator output and armor with the weapons too, but the mobility is peak Zeon design

This is also the kind of MS what G-3 Gundam should have been, but nope.
I swear at this point the devs are slandering the RX-78-2 Gundam by making this fake the 'ideal Gundam' and by putting it in a much higher cost.
Funfact, the _downswing_ of single saber from this MS is belongs to Gundam in *Journey to Jaburo* 's mechanic.
