真鍮パイプをつぶさずに綺麗に曲げる方法を教えてください。以前にも完全に丸く曲げていた作例があったと思います。おそらく事前に焼きなましをしてからの加工だと思いますが、中に芯材等を入れているのでしょうか？又、どのような工具を使われているのでしょうか？教えていただければ幸いです。
0.4mmなどの太い真鍮パイプは中に心材入れて、ワイヤーループ、丸ペンチ、ワイヤールーピングペンチ、呼称は色々なんですけど、アクセサリーで使うペンチを使っています。心材も曲げる角度では抜けなくなったりしますので、その場合、曲げる箇所のみに芯材を短く切って入れて曲げています。手間かかりますけど、熱することはしていないです。パイプは材料が長ければ曲げやすく、短いほど曲げにくいので、ある程度の無駄な端材は生まれてしまいますが、曲げ加工は高等なテクニックだと思っていますので、綺麗に曲げられるとちょっと家族に自慢出来ますよ😉
