I can’t wait to play this game I have a son who is 6 years old and I told him I’ve been waiting for this game his entire life lol. We play BOTW together and he is also very excited for this new game. As i remembered, Terrako was activated when Zelda’s sacred power has awoken and traveled back in time to change the fate of Hyrule in the Pre-Calamity. Thus, called in the Successors from the original timeline to save the champions of this reality.

So there is a chance Ganondorf, the mysterious Zonai tribe and the sky islands exist in this reality than the ones from Tears of the Kingdom. My questions is will the Successors remembered their time travel experiences.

I just wanted to make it clear. And it has nothing to do with her dedication to offer prayers to the Goddesses, nor through her harder work and training to established a connection. But it was Zelda’s love and affection for link that have awakened her sacred power. My hope in Tears of the Kingdom is that their relationship continues to grow and find their happinesses in the end.
i always thought it was her love for him pushing her to find the courage she lacked before, which was the trait she was still lacking. and perhaps her reliving that this power is controlled by the heart rather than the mind.
In the “Father and Daughter” memory, I still can’t get over how disgusted I am about King Rhoam being so cold towards Princess Zelda. Let alone pressuring his only daughter. It really hurts me to see Zelda depressed like this. I feel like the core of her character is ‘scholastic vs monastic’. We have seen her love for science being displayed time and time again. She understands her duty already. Why couldn’t he be at least be more supportive towards his daughter and her passion towards Shiekah technology? If Rhoam had allow her to calibrated the Guardians and Divine Beasts, Ganon wouldn’t corrupted them with his Malice a century ago. I don’t care what people thinks but I feel sorry for Princess Zelda because I am familiar with a similar dysfunctional relationship I have with my father as well.
I have read it. While I understand he regretted on being harsh on Zelda. But there’s no excuse on down right cruel has been. Being a parent to a child is a much bigger responsibility as to being a ruler to your kingdom.
What I think everyone can agree was out of line was embarrassing her in front of Link. If he was going to scold her like that, he should've done so in private. I also think he was too inconsiderate of her feelings regardless, but at the same time the stakes are so high for everyone involved that it's somewhat unstandable, unlike how it is with overbearing parental figures in general (and I can personally sympathize with you on that) who don't have the excuse that the fate of the entire world is at stake when they try to impose themselves and their expectations on their kids.

Was playing in the Splatoon Splatfest today and I did Link bad, I suck at that game haha! Just can’t get into it enough to really want to sink hours and days into getting good. Used to love multiplayer shooting games as a kid but I just can’t get into them anymore.
Here's what I know (no spoilers, but just from I can gather from promotions alone): - $70 for 6-year development and re-used assets (the longest gap between Zelda releases) - Same world, but with never-before-seen locales - prologue is loosely reminiscent to the plot of "The Mummy" (1999) - Death Mountain spewing out malice, massive cyclone over Hebra, sinkholes, sandstorms, and herds of Molduga plaguing Gerudo Desert, and (while not confirmed but assuming) tainted waters all over Lanayru - Gleeok confirmed by recent ad - fusing weapons (gaming logic at max) - cars, tractors, tanks, hovercrafts (Kirby mouthful mode, anyone?) - Zonai is relevant to the plot now (who were they the first time?) - Riju, Sidon, Tulin appear to aid Link (where's Yunobo?) - Official gameplay featuring the comeback of Korok droppings... - Overarching gameplay structure... *unknown...* - The possible end to the "Era of the Wild" story arc (I REALLY wanted to move on from it...) - I want SSBU Zelda to have a canon appearance in the series at SOME point. (She's my fav Zelda.)

so if Zelda was 16 when she imprisoned Gannon, then 100 years went by with link taking a dirt nap, why is Zelda still 16 years old?
