These algs have been around for a while. I guess top cubers haven't adopted them because they're difficult to execute, but if Max is switching to rotationful algs, it might pick up now. Jayden McNeill used a rotationful OLL in his famous 4.97 single from 2018.

New objectively optimal G perm alg? I mean if Max uses it it’s probably pretty good. The 9 rotations don’t seem too bad if you do them fast like Max did
