It is actually not 100% my style, to be perfectly honest, but this is really nice designer project. It brings a strong woody/leather formula without that much sweetness on designer level. To me it is more a dry woody smell, than 'leather like'.

I regret every blind buy except Silver Mountain Water. I blind bought (and regret) Dior Sauvage EDT, invictus, TF Ombre leather, Ferrari Leather intense, Versace Eros EDT.
L'Instant really is magical & you're dead right, it is well worth spending the little extra to get the EDP, as it's far better. Where as Guerlains Heritage is better in the EDT form. Hopefully they'll do both in a Parfum edition soon, after the recent success of Habit Rouge, Vetiver & Ideal Parfums.
I blind bought sunrise to sunset… it’s very heavy on neroli. But when in the heat performs monstrously! At frat I thought it leaned more feminine but thank you for explaining the Gucci absolute. You are my trusted influencer and I have it in my cart blindly .. I hope to have the same reaction.
I like the series, it gives us insight into how you analyze your first impressions. I have the L'Instant De Guerlain EDP Eau Extreme in the old style bottle,love it. I definitely want to get my nose on the Gucci and I have Joop Le Parfum, which doesn't smell anything like the original. I think it's really good. You've definitely got me motivated to check out the Gucci!
Omar you really really should try Joop le parfum. That one is on a different level. The iris note is incredibly well done, a bit more sweet than Dior pour homme intense, and very pleasant. To me it smells like a strong sweet iris flanker of stronger with you, with good performance.
I absolutely love gucci guilty edp and parfum. I think all them are good. I heard gucci guilty oud is real good. I need to blind buy it. Joop I used to wear it a lot in school. I can't do joop anymore lol
It could be the Sandalwood in the Joop making it smell fruity, I noticed Sandalwood mixed with some notes can give off a fruity smell - Sacred Wood by Killian has no citrus notes officially but it does give off a citrusy smell on the drydown

Joop! Le Parfum is miles better than anything else in the line. Nothing like the original. Big lavender, vanilla and iris vibes. You should pick it up.

Everytime I wear my Gucci Gulity Absolute I get comments on how I smell like a Italian Mobster or like im on my way to kill somebody,very good perfume if you like to smell classy and masculine very raw leathers and woods amazing for dark outfits. Way more harsh than Ombre Leather for reference.

@@clawer2969 Alexandria 2 and Naxos are really good and there are some other good ones. But 90% of the brand is overpriced mediocrity (some are even straight bad). They have great packaging and marketing so they are hyped. 40 knots is NOT a masterpiece tho 😅
@@clawer2969A new perfume store opened in my city and I noticed that they had xerjoff (never smelled any of them before) I went to try them all and I deadass got so disappointed and laughed at how hyped it is,a few of them are remarkable rest its literally similar to pointless designer releases

Knowing the Ideal line only (EDP, Parfum, Intense, Extreme) I really wanna try out L’Instant Homme EDP. It seems to be a safe blind buy.
