you do know that you can turn off the moon thing....just set the moon on new moon and it doesnt go on full moon anymore it helps alot and the sound doesnt scare you anymore :)

To move to another town u have to save your household and start a new game with a new world and just use your saved household (or you can go on a vacation which costs money it came with world of adventures) bridgeport came with late night (you can't buy it sepparatly) all the other places she has are from the sims 3 store which cost money (there is a free world called riverview but i kinda sucks)
And also..just so Lifesimmer and others are informed, you have to get the waterproof rain disrupters not the sun banes because the sun banes aren't waterproof and will fall apart in rain!

To avoid a full moon, set the lunar cycle to be one phase (anything but a full moon works). You can do this in the options.
