  • These coupler locks are very popular and while I have seen several up close, I always respected the locksport code. Never touch a lock that isn't yours (without permission by owner) and never tamper with a lock in use.
So I purchased this one to inspect it's security level.
After showing it to a few people I knew I had to feature it.
I believe a small pocket would also work.

Typical manufacturer, take a reasonably good design and stick the cheapest lock they can find in it. Take care sir. Go U.S.

Gona have to add a nail file pick to my equipment haha. Its fun opening locks with random stuff. If it has a spring loaded rachet mechanism you can problys shim it with a tape measure too. I have done that to a steering lock that looked like a similar locking system👍

Another problem with this lock is that the actual key that came with no longer will unlock it. It may be because it's been out in the weather and locked for quite a while. I have used wd40 and made no difference. The racheting locking part is far in also. So I guess these techniques are all that left to do besides using a torch or sledge hammer. What about some kind of pipe cutter?

    • @AlbertLebel
