Never distract yourself by having a conservation with the tester cause they will intentionally do this to see how you will react by a distracting passenger
This is set in the NT. You only need to hold your learner licence with no defaults for 6 months. You’re 16 and 6 months when you’re sitting your red p’s test.
Feels a bit odd that driving instructors are also test instructors. The country I did my test, we had driving schools that had driving instructors and cars. The test itself was carried out by appointed government employees whose jobs were to test the drivers. They never actually did lessons - only tested anyone who booked driver's license tests. I see a bit of conflict of interest here, but I trust you lot to keep integrity within the system.
6 months of Ls and then attempting P's... not long enough. And going for them when you're 16/17... Victoria its L's when you're 16-17 and then when you're 18 you're able to go for your P's
I remember failing my Ps test for the first time because the light went orange and instead of stopping I instinctively accelerated to make it across before it turned red. Made it across without seeing the light ever turn red and I was actually going like 5 under the speed limit so it was kinda a bs fail
Have to disagree with you, that fact that you had to speed up to get through the light even though you didn't go over the limit means you had time to stop and be safe. Being a good driver isn't just about being able to handle a car it's about being safe (for yourself and others) while doing it and what you did wasn't; another car could have come along and t-boned you. You could have potentially caused a serious accident and that's the reason why you failed.
Not in the Northern Territory. This series is filmed in Darwin. In the NT, you can get your L's on the day of your 16th birthday, you only have to hold your L's for 6 months. Therefore you can get your P's at 16.5 years old. You hold your P's for 2 years if you're under 25 (1 year for over 25's). Therefore, you can have a full driver's licence at the age of 18.5. I'm a driving instructor in the Northern Territory. I do this with students everyday! 🚗
bro im confused why are some of these learners 16 going for their ps thats not possible you have to wait a year to go for you ps this makes no sense their has to be a mistake in their age
NT only requires you to hold a learner license for 6 months, meaning the earliest possible age to go for your Ps is 16.5. Interestingly, the NT also has no green P, just 2 years of red P and then straight to full license (though with 1 year of 0.00 BAC).
Once I took a girl much younger than me home to meet my parents. I was 26 she was 19. My dad started getting really abusive and calling me all sorts of names like "pedo" and "nonce" It was uncalled for. It completely ruined our ten year anniversary.
Jesse isn’t even close to being ready!
Apologies for the deleted comment had the wrong guy.

What I’ve realised watching this is the examiners are extremely lenient down under, you would NOT get away with a pass that easy in the UK 😂
Only because cameras are on...
Until you come to Western Australia 😂 it’s probably stricter than u guys…
cause your guys roads are complete shit. Barely enough room for 2 cars lmao
You wouldn't get a pass this easily in NSW either.
good damn luck in south australia bro
16??!? Thats a grown man he aint no 16 yr old

Yeah 16 years ago
I'm 17 There are a lot of 16-year-olds that look like that, puberty hits others lot harder sometimes
I started to really develop my beard at 15 turning 16.

No, it's a completely different job here in Australia.
