As a Vegeta fan I loved this episode. Seeing him getting aggravated on how arale was a gag character was hilarious. Especially when he attempted his more cartoony strategy and kicked her head off
I don't get it xD those complains about Vegeta... Even the character himself stated that this was a gag thing that didn't make any sense. It was suppose to be a funny episode that doesn't follow continuity. Maybe Dragon Ball Z was both good and bad for people... they forgot how dragon ball was and the comedy behind it.
Which is why Z wasn't that all that enjoyable for me. Z has epic fights but it was a bit too serious and forgot it's roots from the original Dragon Ball, which balanced seriousness and comedy in the most enjoyable and the best way possible. I like Super for that reason because it's kinda has that DragonBall factor in it. My opinion anyways.

The weird thing about Baby Turbo... he didn't stay a baby, they actually let him age a few years. I distinctly remember one Dr.Slump animated special where he was kid (he even had the same bowl cut Gohan had when they went to Namek). He also appeared as a kid (not a baby) in V-Jump, where he gave Arale a watch that let her turn into an adult.
The only people who are complaining about this episode are the ones who never watched the Dragon Ball anime or read the entire Dragon Ball manga, because this episode is nothing but LOVE for Akira Toriyama and his work. This was a hilarious episode, and I cannot wait to see next week's baseball episode, I'm betting it will be very funny.
Fun to see these crossovers and easter eggs between the two series. Also reminds me of a scene with the Pilaf gang in the Dragon ball manga. With Mai holding one of those poop sticks and Pilaf berating her for making a doctor Slump reference

as someone whose read Dr. slump, I liked this episode a lot. people who dislike episodes like this don't understand toriyama, the guy makes gag manga, it's what he does. heck, until king piccolo showed up, the dragon ball manga was basically a gag manga just like Dr. Slump was. even after the tone shift, we still got ridiculous stuff like the ginyu force. I don't think the Dragon ball series was ever meant to be taken seriously, sure it's got it's dramatic moments, but it's not supposed to make sense. the president is a dog.
Yeah Toriyama's writing deals mostly with simplistic and fun stories but will get serios when it wants to. Basically how OPM by One was written except with a little more depth to the gag and fun to the story but was influenced from stories like Dragone. Hell in an interview One said he liked battle manga especially Db and that's what influenced him a lot with his creation. But yeah Db was just an gag series with serious moments every now and then and I enjoyed the episode.

I love how they showed love to the Dr. Slump characters in Super (and of course the first time Goku visited Penguin Village during the Red Ribbon Army arc). Yeah this was just a silly -dare I say - “filler” episode, but it was just a fun episode to help give the audience some breathing room after everything that we had just gone through during the Future Trunks arc (and especially the ending). We needed this. After Zeno destroyed Mirai Trunks entire timeline, and it sunk in that our heroes failed, we needed to have gag episodes like this one, otherwise some of the fans may have gotten burned out before the Tournament of Power began.

You can sense god ki without being a god. Golden Frieza and Hit both sensed Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku. You just have to be at a certain power level.
