I have Opel Corsa C 1.2 16v 75 hp. It is nice small car, good fuel ecomony it is not too small like other cars in that class. It is perfect car for city and open roads, but i didn't like driving it on highway because you can feel wind and noise in car a lot.
Hello, sorry for going offtopic but I do also have a corsa c 1.2 and I recently bought it from someone else, I don't have the navigation drivers set up and I was wondering if by any chance you might have the cd laying around, I don't know if I need a specific cd or something specific but I would like to try anyway, also sorry to bother you have a nice day

In den letzten 10 Jahren hatte ich 2 Winterautos und zwar jeweils einen VW Polo 1.4 mit 60PS (6N1 & 6N2) mit denen ich sehr zufrieden war. Mit nur 60PS liefen die Kisten verdammt gut. Jetzt habe ich mir einen Corsa C 1.2 mit 75PS zugelegt für kommenden Winter. Der Corsa hat zwar einen 16 Ventil-Motor ist aber längst nicht so spritzig wie die beiden Polo es waren (8 Ventiler).
Stimmt..mein 75ps Corsa fühlt sich zugeschnürrt an. Neue Zündkerzen, neue Zündleiste von Bosch etc pp...Bei 165kmh Nadel..ist dicht! beim Sprint merkt man das der Motor wie abgedrückt läuft. Auffällig ist, das manchmal nach dem Schalten in den Nächsten Gang, häufig vom 1 in den 2., der Motor viel besser zieht und beim nächsten Schalten wieder wie zugeschnürrt wirkt. Ka was der für ein Problem hat. Aktuell braucht der auch recht viel...über 7 Liter sind einfach zu viel.

@@lorisrotelli145 yeah with these small engine’s alot of revs is needed for them to pick up speed i have a skoda fabia mk1 with 64bhp and 112 nm of torque and its quite nippy when it gets over 3000rpm but will pull easily up to 2000rpm too just not very quickly

So we all gonna ignore the "check engine" light on the dashboard? 🙈 I've driven this car with the same engine for a couple of weeks, from my concern it was the worst made car ever, everything on this vehicle is just produced super cheaply in contrast to my 2019 Corsa E. There are worlds between those cars ✌
The owner assured us that it had been to the garage several times where they could not find any issues. So we went for it. Of course, 17 years in the automotive industry is like comparing a Nokia 3310 to a current gen smartphone.

On the Corsa C, gearbox was the same F13CR (close ratio) for all petrol engines, 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4, hence the same gear ratios. The 1.8 GSi had the F17CR, but it's an uncommon engine and anyway gear ratios were similar to the F13.
Schöner Wagen, aber für die Autobahn ist der mit der 75PS Maschine und der kurzen Übersetzung einfach nicht gemacht. 160 bei übef 5000 Umdrehungen. Das würde ich dem Auto nicht antun wollen. Dann lieber eine größere Maschine oder einen Diesel

i have tested the same car 180km/h straight and 193km/h downhill (without check engine light) 6500 rpm
My favorite car is Corsa C 1.4
A bigger engine is always smoother to drive :)
Extremely short gears, in 5th gear goes 90Km/h @ 3000 rpm :( car is crying for 6 speed gearbox

Yes, it did run better after the Autobahn drive. I think it had about 140k km but wasn't in good shape overall.

We are not familiar with the different gearbox types, but the documentary of this car says it is 1.2 L :)
