This is not to discredit anyone, but the reason the metal is discolored is because of the process used in welding or heating it. If there is NO welding or it is not supposed to be seized to something, that would be a problem. That piece you call a bearing is a one way clutch. They are supposed to be a little loose like that. They tighten up when it tries to spin backwards, hence one way. That part is good. Hope this helps some people.

Should check your starter relay and cut off run could also be neutral position sensor or your oil level sensor it will not run when they do not have enough oil keeps you from burning the engine

my warrior was just rebuilt last summer 7 years ago and just started riding it again last summer. i don't think it's the piston, but i am not a machanic as you can tell. When i turn the motor over it makes a clunking and i've talked to a few places around where i live that told me that the clutch starter gear goes bad really often. He said it's about 280.00$ for the bearing on the flywheel and the gear. I'm not sure though i gotta get the money for the bearing/gear before i can test it.

it is a Woodruff key that hold your Magneto in place for your timing on your Magneto and the free Spin bearing for the starter mechanism you shouldn't have to replace the gear just the bearing and the free spins bearing for the starter mechanism you shouldn't have to replace the gear just the bearings

    • @MrSours69

Not trying to correct you but it's called a one way bearing. Not a free spin bearing.

mine back fired and lost spark. arr replacing the stator assembly still had no spark so i shorted out the cdi box abd got spark so i replaced that and now i have a blue spark again. since this it kept jumping timming so i checked timing chain abd tensioner and all appear to be in good working order. cam looks good. Took the flywheel off abd the one way beating was seized. so i replaced with a slightly used one from a shop that works. so everything appears to be in working order but still can't get it to start. . but with it not starting i also have this tingy noise sounds like it's coming from around the flywheel. has anyone had this problem or is this the same noise your getting in the video? i only replaced the one way bearing. should i of replaced something else?
