those are sweet cards... I remember collecting some kind of xmen cards in the 90s
There were some great X-Men sets in the 90s. My favorites are probably the 1992 Impel Jim Lee X-Men Series 1, and the first Fleer Ultra X-Men sets.
@icollectthings I think the fleer ultra is what I had, may still be buried in a closet at my parents house too

@@scotthallrex My best so far is Cosmic /25, one from hobby and one from a blaster. People have pulled some huge cards out of blasters. Most of the time though you get the 4 blue surge parallels, 1 numbered card usually a Teal Wave or Blue Traxx, 1-2 colored parallels, a variant cover, a rainbow, and the base. Which I think is a pretty good floor for a $20 retail item.

Hi Mark! Your videos are fantastic. I stumbled upon my old Fleer Ultra 94/95 X-men cards and have decided to dip my toe into collecting Marvel cards again. There are soooo many sets now, but your videos on Marvel Platinum blaster boxes have pushed me in that direction (while I wait for the Flair, Wolverine, and Marvel Metal presells to shop).
It's pretty tough finding a decent deal on Blaster Boxes at the moment, but hopefully they'll come down again. I look forward to seeing more of your content.

The blasters are tough to find, Upper Deck hasn't restocked recently and it's difficult to find them on shelves. I hope Platinum will come to ePack sooner than later to get more supply available.

I miss collecting comic character cards. Too many non-X-Men cards for my taste in this set though.
Can’t find these boxes under 50 bucks
Supply has really dried up. Upper Deck restocked last week but they sold out quickly. I love these at retail price but $50 is too much!
I’m getting into marvel cards, as a cheap box do you recommend allegiance x-men vs avengers or marvel beginnings?
Also thinking of pre ordering marvel metal avengers and marvel flair. Thoughts?
I hesitate to make recommendations, but I personally prefer the smaller Allegiance set over Beginnings. There are neat parallels in Beginnings but the set is huge and has fringe characters. That can be a benefit though if you want to learn more and see characters that don't often get cards. Allegiance has holograms which makes for a fun chase.
If you haven't already check out other people's box openings on both to see which you might prefer.
I have one box of Flair and Metal Avengers on preorder. I'm expecting to enjoy Flair more. In Metal Avengers, I'm most interested in the retro cards. Current Metal Avengers preorder prices seem expensive to me. It's tough preordering the sets without seeing the checklist first.

I found 2 more blasters and they did not have any numbered cards, just the blue serge cards and the unnumbered colored rainbow cards in them. 😕
